I don't think so. You cannot just go in "guns blazing," so to speak and change the laws. You have to do social reform first, which takes time.

Republicans are not your friends when it comes to MRM either. You forget that this is the Good Ole Boys club, where men cannot be raped, are supposed to support the family by themselves, and any man that takes an interest in working with young kids is a pedophile. But you keep bashing the liberals, and those left leaning centrists like myself who are just about your only friends in this fight. That will win the day, right?

Ayn Rand was an idealist, just like Karl Marx. Neither of their views can be practical in the real world due to the fact that people are not ideal beings. Both have been tried and have failed miserably in real world application.

I'm sorry, but no. We need no political affiliation to achieve our goals. In fact, I would argue that libertarianism is at odds with MRM due to its anarchist nature. Besides, our goal is to change social views and understanding, not just laws. This is exactly what the gays did, and now they have the ability to change laws. We need to share our views and use logic to get people on our side, and not alienate the other half of our brethren.

Didn't you skip the part where they paid for her friends but wouldn't pay for her? Come on now, aren't you being a bit harsh? I think I'd rather pay my cover charge than be asked to move out of a photo for being too unattractive. Glad you could mirror /r/feminism and make a mountain out of a molehill though.

Oh dear... She had it until Ayn Rand and TeaBagger philosophy. Not that it invalidates her point, just her taste in literature.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
