I wasn't passing moral judgement on the law. I'm just saying that it seems to have been applied basically by the book. I think most people, law or no, would say someone who held a wedding ceremony in front of others is married. Idk what more to say.

You had a marriage ceremony. You didn't think that might not be the best idea if you didn't want to get married? I'm sorry man but in the way the law is written, whether that law is right or wrong, the judge is correct here. Sure, you didn't get the paperwork but you did literally everything but that.

Carry on. Whatever your issue before was, now mix in a heavy amount of resentment and hatred because she "tried to save the marriage" while you didn't and gave up. That's saying that there isn't a more petty ulterior motive here like trying to turn the kids away from you once this is all over or trying to estavlish a precident of her being a 'caring, devoted wife' whilst painting you as the bad guy, knowing full well its ending either way.

A lot of marriage counsellors make their money because married people spend too much time on Tinder.

Whenever you feel is "the right time" to introduce them, add a year or two onto that. Don't lie to your kids though, they have a right to know that you're in a relationship but also a right not to get involved in that. Also, trust me, keep those worlds as seperate as possible for as long as possible. With one you get to be a dad without worrying about being a boyfriend, or whether they get on, or including your girlfriend in activities with the kids that none of them enjoy. Same goes for the gir…

Give your parents an ultimatum, either they stop getting in contact with your ex or you stop contact with them. Follow through with whatever they choose. If they get into contact with her again, you go no contact with them straight away. You need to set a boundary and if they break it there has to be real consequences. If this is how they react to your ex who cheated on you, I'm willing to bet there are other boundaries they break all the time. Again, this is only for boundaries. Don't say "you'…

Is 'chewing tobacco' an innuendo for something else. If it isn't, I'm not trying to diminish your struggles but I guess I'm just genuinely confused. I've never chewed tobacco but I am a smoker, and I certainly know how addictive nicotine can be, however nicotine doesn't really have a substantial 'effect' i.e. Alcohol gets you drunk, Drugs get you high etc. I guess what I'm not seeing is why a chewing tobacco addiction was so detrimental to your relationship that it is divorce worthy? If my husba…

She lied about you being abusive and she tried TO KILL YOUR CHILDREN. You should try to fight her so she can't even get unsupervised visitation let alone giving up primary care. These are your children, don't let her hurt them more. They are your life now AND your wife should be the one paying child support, even if she has to get government assistance to do so. Same for you, your kids should be the number one priority for you right now.

If he's being violent with you, why should he be trusted alone with your kids. Do you really want to do this amicably or are you scared of the retaliation if you don't? If I were you, his actions would have personally disqualified him from unsupervised visits to my kids let alone 50/50 custody. The money stuff I'd be less worried by, but I'd make sure I had enough so that if he ever went to jail or something (idk maybe for assualt) that your children would be fine without him. A not so amicable …

You both need to go to individual counselling, and once you've made progress there, do marriage counselling. Divorce is a pretty permanent end to what may only be temporary problems. I say do IC before MC, because you both will need to be comfortable with therapy for MC to work, it can't if one of you flakes out because it brings up some uncomfortable feelings you aren't ready for. Also, not all marriage counsellors are good, make sure to shop around if you aren't that happy. It will be expensiv…

Which is easier than becoming taller... Since you can't even have surgery to become taller.

"I've heard way too much of it" whilst clearly not liking it and not choosing to listen to it personally is one reason why people might think it's really popular. Js.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
