As a personal trainer, you should have cut him out as soon as things got unprofessional, which delayed response and the "sorry bro" definitely demonstrated. Get starting strength by mark rippetoe or Kettlebell Simple and Sinister by Pavel Tsatsouline Read them, understand them, utilize them and realize that personal trainers are nothing but salesmen.
