Every woman still has the choice to do so. My parents both subscribe to feminism and somehow my dad was the breadwinner and my mum decided to stay at home and raise us. The only thing that stops people from doing that is fear of social repercussions, which I think is amazingly stupid.

I'm not interested in the patriarchy. I just believe that you should be free to express yourself without fear of violence or abuse. Woman wants to be a stay at home mum? That's fine, she can do that. Maybe she wants to work as an engineer and act as the bread winner for her family? Well, she can do that too. Cut her hair short and wear boyish clothing, or grow her hair long and wear dresses - those are choices that a woman should be able to make without being ostracised or berated. As for men? W…

Both toxic masculinity and femininity work together create a hostile sexual environment that affects everyone in one way or another. It'd be better if gender roles weren't so prominent in our society, or weren't at least considered mandatory to some degree.

I don't even claim myself as a feminist, and I believe things can't change for the better if people aren't made aware of the problem. Cultural changes, however, take a lot of time to happen.

What the hell is sloganeering? I personally do try to take action against sexual discrimination against both men and women, particularly if it occurs right in front of me.

Rape against men is a side effect of toxic masculinity. One of the most disgusting examples I've seen in the UK was men was raped and sexually abuse by five women who continued to taunt him as he took them to court. In the meantime, there were discussions going on around me as to whether or not a man can be raped by a woman, which was utterly horrific to listen to. And then we have rape occurring after a criminal has been processed by the law system. Although they are in there for punishment, th…

I have no understanding of American law as my education lies in UK and EU legislation, which is why I say allegedly, as I rarely ever need to look at cases in America. By rape culture I mostly have in mind deployed soldiers, gangs, and prisons when concerning where rape is often dismissed, excused and swept under the rug in the West. Although they do not represent a large part of society, I still find it completely unacceptable. There is also the issue of a man or woman being punished for being …

Expressing yourself without fear is something both men and women should be allowed. The destruction of traditional gender roles doesn't mean that all women will act like men and all men will act like women, it means that you can behave in a way that fully reflects who you are without punishment.

I'm guessing you don't believe rape culture is a thing? I'm not going to touch the idea of a patriarchy because it's irrelevant to my interests, but there are places in this world where rape culture is most certainly exists, even in places like America, where rape-hazing apparently happens at some universities. I know the term is overused, but it is actually a label for a real situation.

Isn't it when you and the rest of society feel so beholden to the typical standards of what it is to be a man or woman that it's self-destructive? Like how a man has to "man up" and put a lid on his emotions, or how a woman is supposed to feel so ashamed of her sexuality that it is her fault if she's raped? I feel that it causes a lot of issues in society, but really for men in particular at this moment, as women are gradually becoming liberated from the cage of gender roles, while men are still…

My sister acts sort of like this in an attempt to get more material valuables out of men, but she's a bit off in the head. I didn't think it was common behaviour but then again I am not a man actively dating women. So really my only experience and opinion on this is generated by my sister, but I'll try think about this more abstractly. I've heard quite often things such as "men only want sex" and "a man won't consider a woman who doesn't have sex with him fast enough", in fact it appears every s…

To be honest I also find it hard to understand why people decide not to use their own eyes instead of listening to romanticisations as well. Is it the result of being socially unaware or something? My family raised me and my sisters to question everything so maybe that's why it just seemed more obvious, and I do understand what you mean about the frequent imagery we are fed, but there's a clear difference between experiencing life and hearing about how life is. I really don't know how people don…

I thought the point of dread game was to make you worry they would leave or cheat? I answered with that in mind. I also thought it was normal to leave once the trust is gone.

He has female friends that he hangs out with anyway, so I'm not sure if I'd interpret that sort of scenario as upsetting. I also let him go out drinking with his friends without tagging along, and I know he gets very horny when he's drunk. I dunno, I struggled to feel jealous when I was younger too. Either that, or I am just completely unaware when I am jealous or something? I just don't see the purpose of coveting things, it seems like pointless behaviour. I have spoken to him about cheating be…

Oh, I don't see anything wrong with it, I was just unsure if you were aware of it. People can respond badly to these things so I think it's important to know that. Being irrational and biased usually happens when you feel passion for something so I don't think it's the end of the world to be so. The problem is that it can seriously hinder learning.

My issue is that a lot of what you said seems incredibly biased, occasionally bordering on irrationality. I am studying the social sciences and humanities, with personal reading into anthropology, art, world history, the history of art, the history of literature and philosophy. I have encountered a lot of men this and women that, which is why I am trying to discuss some of what you brought up, but ultimately my interests lie in what makes humans human, so I'm really not that well equipped for di…

I know you put a lot of thought into this but it reads to me as if you've convinced yourself of the answer before asking the question, (which is why Freud isn't considered valid, now that I think about it). I'm just assuming that because the "feminist agenda" has little to do with most of your points. You can easily turn the tiny penis thing around and say that men are just women with enlarged clitoris', with outer labia developed into testicles and underdeveloped breasts, which is why men have …

I haven't done a lot of research into chromosomes yet, but how is two full X chromosomes lesser than XY? Technically speaking, males have one quarter of a chromosome less genetic material than females.

Strong? I thought that it was decided by whether or not the zygote received an X or Y chromosome. The only time strength comes into play during fetal development is when the woman is pregnant with multiple offspring (typically twins) and one absorbs the other, becoming a chimera. There's a slight chance that the resulting chimera may be a hermaphrodite if its twin was male and it is female or vice versa, but I've never heard of one suddenly becoming fully male without being genetically programme…

I was just wondering if it'd benefit me at any point to use dread game on my partner. Currently there's absolutely no need for it, as I find it important to perform romantic and friendly gestures for him as I'd like to keep the romance alive for as long as possible. I'm assuming dread only becomes necessary once the romance has gone and both parties view each other more as friends or roommates than romantic partners.

Attention and attraction serve similar functions in a relationship context so I don't really get why this is winding you up. One of the side effects of dread game is that his/her attention is on you, which means they are too preoccupied with you to consider other options. That's what you're trying to control with dread game, isn't it? You want to draw attention away from other issues and potentially generate attraction, which results in more sexual activity. You're not going to generate attracti…

Well I'm more interested in how it affects dread gaming than random hookups or just dating. Dread game is so that your partner pays more attention to you/is more attracted to you, and it's possible for people to be spoiled by that extra attention.

Would it be beneficial for a woman to dread game her partner as well?

I have disordered thinking, so I am occasionally illogical without realising it because I am schizophrenic. I can assure you that not every woman will go through my thought processes. I'm mostly basing this on observations. Both men and women appear to love it when they are lavished with attention, assuming they are extroverted. Men particularly like female attention.

I love him immensely and I would be very hurt, I just don't like being a bother to other people. I don't believe it is my place to force unhappiness on another person. I'd like to spend the rest of my life with my partner, but I'm not going to make him to stay with me if he doesn't want to.

My issue with that is that I know that even in adulthood, you can grow spoiled, and (nuclear?) dread game reads to me as reminiscent of this sort of thing, particularly as I've seen people gradually devolve into spoilt brats when they think they can get away with it. To continuously get away with something paves the way to being spoiled, it's like when an adult relearns that screaming will get them the attention they crave, so they keep shouting and screaming. Dread game is a slightly more subtl…

Isn't doing your own thing something that most people do in trusting relationships? Is dread game just a label for something that occurs under normal circumstances without the intention of the participants? I'm an introvert, so abandoning people to spend some time alone is a pretty common thing for me to do, as I will reach a point where I crave the isolation more than anything, and I also tend to rapidly change my mind about what I should be doing, so I wander off a lot. This could be seen as a…

Uh, when people flirt with my partner I just carry on with my life. If he wants to leave me for another woman, well he's an adult and it's his decision if he doesn't want to be with me anymore. I'd rather not force him to be with me if I make him unhappy, but until then I'll do my best to make his time with me enjoyable. I'm pretty solipsistic, really.

Isn't it because the relationship is unhealthy or unfulfilling? I thought that was implied whenever the topic comes up on TRP so I never thought to ask about it.

I previously thought that alpha meant promiscuous and beta meant monogamous based off of the way they are portrayed, but apparently I'm wrong so I need to rethink that. I think alpha for most people here represents a person with many dominant personality traits like confidence, assertiveness and risk-taking, whereas beta is a person with mostly passive personality traits like being introverted, reserved and gentle. Then there's supposedly gamma which means you're just so socially stupid and ugly…

Problem is that in the English language, "all" is another word for "every", making it a decisive and inflexible statement, which is why I think it's a bit of a stupid thing to say. Most Women Are Like That would work better, but then it wouldn't have the same impact for red pills I suppose. My mind is wandering into brainwashing territory so I'll stop there before I run away with illogical hypotheticals.

I don't think most people put a lot of thought into what they find attractive, or really observe other people all that much. There's obviously things that individuals will vary on, but for some reason talking about sex and preferences is very offensive.

I guess I'm just a little disappointed by TRP. With people saying it's the truth and that it "opened their eyes" or whatever, I felt that it'd show me something new and interesting. I just found common sense and observations I've made before, so I thought maybe there was a bit more to it.

>Well, I mean that is what it would be like for average women. You of course are different. I'm having a hard time interpreting this. I'm not sure if you're being genuine, sarcastic or passive aggressive. If it helps any, I do suffer from mental health issues which causes me to be heavily guarded and a general avoidance towards other people, and socially pretty stupid, so I do have issues with bonding with other people. I previously believed myself to be asexual as I also had a complete lack of …

Regarding polyamory, I was thinking more of the ability to maintain more than one relationship at a time with the contentment of the other people within the relationship, who may also do the same. Is that wrong of me to think that, and is my definition wrong? To me, you can be dominant and monogamous (beta), or passive and promiscuous (alpha) with my understanding of the terms, but it seems I'm way off base compared to everyone else, so I may have to redefine them to be more in line with other p…

I was mostly thinking about sperm quality, really. If a guy wants to have kids it's better if he does so before 35.

Ah, sorry about the double negative. I'm still trying to deal with my disordered thinking (which is a lot easier with the written word, I must say), but sometimes I overlook things like that. I just feel that "dominant" and "passive" would act as better representations of that behaviour. Alpha and beta are quite open to interpretation, so I kind of find it hard to focus on what it is specifically supposed to mean, but I think I understand better now.

Uh, I think about 35yrs if we're talk both attractiveness and fertility. I believe around 35yrs, sperm has genetically degraded just enough for birth defects to become a more notable possibility? Attraction-wise I really don't like men over 27yrs in general (I have a thing for androgynous faces so that may be a factor), but that may be due to the fact that I am 24yrs, and that my age of attraction has grown with me.

Both me and partner were so shy when we met that we practically spoke through his best friend when going places as a group. But I found out that he shared interests with me, had a very gentle and considerate personality when I saw him help various people on the street, was quite witty and we meshed extremely well once the awkwardness died out. I find him extremely attractive with a kind voice, and hygienic (which is seriously important to me), so that obviously helped. Can't really have a relati…

Oh I know they're different, but I can't help but find it fascinating. I also feel that by having some understanding, it might help me better understand my partner in some strange way. And it could be some form of trauma from a young age that causes it, although I don't really recall any from my own life, so perhaps it's possible to be born with a predisposition towards it (mind you, I will admit that I'm not quite as extreme as those examples). Or, perhaps, it is the result of bad socialisation…

I'm just interested. I think it's fascinating that a male masochist is more likely to cut open his genitals than a female masochist, who will likely slice open and remove the flesh of her arms and legs instead. Or that an extreme male sadist can take pleasure from cannibalising another person, whereas a female one may be more interested in relishing in their blood. Somewhere along the line, their path of thinking must have diverged, as they started with the same sexual motivations before they gr…

Not really. I don't think it changed much in their behaviour and they just carry on as normal. Sometimes it's met with an "Oh yeah, I went through that too and I know it can be hard" or something and then I'll change the subject. I don't know if it's my perception or not, but I just rarely talk about myself or my family to the people around me. I tend to cover topics like philosophy, science, technology, politics and things like that, so really input about myself isn't necessary. It may be worth…

Hm, I've kept a lot of male friends for a long time because we share interests and enjoy discussing similar topics. I don't ever really talk about my emotions and troubles with other people and have been told off for bottling things up quite a few times, really. My other female friends seem to be quite similar in that we're not so much interested in social drama as we are in other, more interesting things, but I don't know whether or not that's because I'm obviously completely disinterested and …

TRP seems to describe as every action being sexually motivated. A man talks to a woman either to raise his SMV or because he wishes to have sex with her, and a woman talks to a man either to reap the emotional benefits of a romantic relationship without forming a relationship, to raise SMV or because she desires sexual relations with the man. TRP also has a generally negative description of how women interact with men (mostly along the lines of using them or leading them on, being unintellectual…

My middle sister likes to hit on my boyfriend. She's a bit like a red pill man but as a woman (sex is the measure of your worth, traditional gender roles are the most important shit ever, men should be alpha and if they're beta they're gonna get abused by women like herself, men are cunts and only care about sex so who cares if I'm amoral, and that kind of shit).
