I had a similar situation with a best friend. The first time she did it,I called her out, we stopped talking and then eventually reconciled. The second time she did it, I let it be and our friendship basically died.My own is if someone does not care enough to maintain a relationship why fight it? It sucks but it is what it is.

Ladies I am aware of that.I am a black woman myself and followed pink pill feminism and gender critical. My point are those subs are perceived as such hence why they are being censored.I don't agree with them being banned.

From observing the list, they most targeted subs that are right wing, and those deemed to be "transphobic",racist etc.

I dont think it's a conscious screw college cuz I dont need it to get laid but a series of factors that would have been created due to cheap sex.For example due to cheap sex, relationahips are more unstable, men are committing less...more children are growing up with dysfunctional or lack of healthy male figures/families etc.

Yes.I won't say a career per se but men had to bring something early to table and had to commit in order to gain access to sex unlike now where they get sex easily without investing anything. The book is not blaming women btw.

Indeed. What is your conclusion after reading it in terms of your own personal behaviour etc per the opposite sex?

I do think people change.Much of the low value traits men exhibit, many of us ladies exhibit granted of a different nature.Though people change, it is difficult for most of us so it is not wise to make decisions on someone changing.I personally reckon that most times ppl change another party enjoys it and I think it is for the better. Owen sounds like he has a lot of things to work on and it would be best for you to leave him alone to go through those changes.Personally, I am unwilling to be wit…

This is due to women having children older which affects their fertility.Granted we are aware now, the problem may be the guy and not the lady.

It is interesting to be honest. One of the premises in the book is that men aren't rejecting marriage as being told but due to them falling behind a significant of them are not marriage material. It really makes one ponder, are ladies supposed to settle to get the marriage and kids or just altogether give up on it if they are unable to find a suitable partner and just make life meaningful outside of those desires? An interesting book overall.

I started reading this book called Cheap Sex.Thus far it is interesting and I think its contents would interest ladies on this sub. Some interesting excerpts from the book:- "the sexual behavior patterns witnessed today both favors men's interest and yet subtly undermine them, drawing upon men's and women's own words as well the assertions of scholars ranging from evolutionary psychologists to gender theorists.Virtually no one , it seems, is happy with the state of maleness today, and yet the male…

I like stoic philosophy 😂.I do think it makes me invalidate my feelings and I have a history of doing that so I am laying off of it.I am approaching things from feeling my feelings as most times I am dissociated so I don't have a clue what I feel and when I do feel,I feel overwhelmed.I understand your feelings regarding friendships...most of my relationships were always me hearing other ppl problems and helping them.It is was one of the reasons I liked the last dismissive avoidant person,he woul…

I am looking into therapy as I suffer from depression? In the mean time,I have been looking into Alan Robarge and Thais Gibson work on youtube.I like Thais own as it goes a lot into this attachment style and she was that type before becoming secure.Curious, did you have a traumatic childhood? I did. Regarding attachment effects in all of my relationships, they are usually distant which makes sense as I keep people at arms length.I have been able to have two good and long friendships but unfortun…

Makes sense,FDS definitely will make an anxious more secure as they act in the opposite of the anxious wounds. My concern is at the same time you don't want to attract a dismissive avoidant/emotionally unavailable partner unless you are certain you are secure enough to handle it.

Your attachment is the ideal for guys lol as they feel safe with it, in that there is no pressure on them like what is exhibited by anxious and fearful avoidant types when romantically involved.I dealt with one dismissive romantically and I don't think my heart can take it again lol, made me anxious and crazy lol.

I haven't changed mines as yet but I am at the baby stage.I follow this youtuber who is a therapist called Thais Gibson. She was fearful avoidant and is now a secure.Fearful avoidant have more wounds/triggers than an anxious so I am certain if you put in the work you can become secure over time.

Curious, what was the nature of your trauma therapy, meaning what did it entail exactly?

I am inclind towards CBT since it seems most effective.I was wondering how effective yoga would be against depression.Thought the form of exercise needed to be aerobic to release those feel good hormones.I am not inclined to the medical route right now especially as I am now exploring my options per healing my depression.
