| 2 | Our lack of reproductive rights is overwhelming.Nope, a couple can agree that abortion is an option given certain circumstances. The most important thing is that it's two consenting adults making an adult decision together. | /r/MensRights | 14/09/19 08:05 PM |
| -3 | Our lack of reproductive rights is overwhelming.Seriously? Do you think women are in it for the money? | /r/MensRights | 14/09/19 08:02 PM |
| -3 | Our lack of reproductive rights is overwhelming.Yup. There is no insurance with these things, if you dont trust your partner then you have to come to terms with that or find someone you do trust. It's much easier to pretend that everything will be fine than face the difficult situations. | /r/MensRights | 14/09/19 03:26 PM |
| 3 | Our lack of reproductive rights is overwhelming.Ya I guess your right. | /r/MensRights | 14/09/19 03:24 PM |
| 2 | Our lack of reproductive rights is overwhelming.Yes they can, obviously, I'm not rambling about obeying anyone or forcing anyone to do anything. I'm saying that discussing this stuff with sexual partners is not easy but if it's done you avoid a lot of trouble. Majority of the people posting here appear to be horrible men that hate women and are enjoying g their opportunity to express themselves so I'm not too invested in proving my point any further. | /r/MensRights | 14/09/19 02:29 PM |
| -5 | Our lack of reproductive rights is overwhelming.Speaks alot about the quality of the relationship and the people in it. | /r/MensRights | 14/09/19 02:25 PM |
| 3 | Our lack of reproductive rights is overwhelming.Wow!! That would be a horrible position to be in but I guess its not the kids fault | /r/MensRights | 14/09/19 02:24 PM |
| 11 | Our lack of reproductive rights is overwhelming.Every woman iv been with has been both secure and intelligent enough to know where they stand on abortion. You need to spend time with a higher standard of person. | /r/MensRights | 14/09/19 11:19 AM |
| -9 | Our lack of reproductive rights is overwhelming.Absolutly but we as men are not the ones left carrying the baby, sustaining it, going through the huge physical and emotional changes as well as dealing with the societal pressures to be something they have no idea of (a mother if it's their first born) We should have a right to somthing when it comes to our unborn child but it should exist within a healthy and consensual relationship. If you are in fact committed to the child then you are committed to supporting each other to raise it. If that … | /r/MensRights | 14/09/19 10:40 AM |
| -22 | Our lack of reproductive rights is overwhelming. The conversation needs to happen before you become pregnant. If it's a reaction to somthing you didnt prepare for it's kind of your own fault. | /r/MensRights | 14/09/19 08:37 AM |
| 27 | Our lack of reproductive rights is overwhelming. If your in a relationship with someone and having regular sex with them you should have a discussion about it. If she says shell abort it and you dont agree you should end the relationship. Unfortunately most people dont have those healthy conversations and need laws to clean up their messes after them. | /r/MensRights | 14/09/19 08:35 AM |
| -25 | Our lack of reproductive rights is overwhelming.Men need to cop the fuck on and and realise that there are consequences to sticking their dicks in women. It's not about the rights of men or women, it's about the welfare of the child they just created. Stop being an asshole and take responsibility for your actions. It's a childs life not some luxury that laws grant us. The abortion thing is a minefield tho. I haven't put enough time into that to comment on it. | /r/MensRights | 14/09/19 08:30 AM |
| 1 | The Hamster WheelI'm not glorifying women I'm not claiming that they're disproportionately innocent. I'm just saying that theres a greater benifet to a balanced discussion that screaming about how we shouldn't include a woman's point of view. That image is the first one iv seen from a male point of view. I'd like to become fermilular with the female point of view too so that when I have to discuss it I'll be able to present points from both genders perspective therefore increasing the chance of a fair and honest… | /r/MensRights | 12/08/19 04:25 PM |
| 1 | It's OK to have an abortion if the child is a boyYup if seen this too. The biological parents had a history and were know to the services. I bet your step brother has a few biological siblings. Sometimes it's even possible that the baby can be born with an addiction and has to go through withdrawal in its first few weeks alive. | /r/MensRights | 12/08/19 07:07 AM |
| 2 | The Hamster WheelIts turned into the very thing it was set up to fight against. Its pathetic to think men believe that well ever be viewed positively if we attack. Look at feminism, at its core it's very progressive for both genders but its hijacked by idiots who go too far and use it to further their own personal agenda. That and people with serious mental health problems who think they understand it get a public voice and ruin it for everyone. | /r/MensRights | 12/08/19 12:53 AM |
| -1 | The Hamster WheelYour a bitter miserable lonely person and your own worst enemy. How about you stop blaming other people for your own pathetic existence, take a bit of responsibility for the choices youv made and grow the fuck up. You can live your whole life miserable and hating others or you can get off your ass and try to understand what has caused you to end up like that. Whether your happy or not doesnt make any difference to me but I'd prefer if you weren't unhappy. Look for professional help if you want t… | /r/MensRights | 12/08/19 12:47 AM |
| 2 | It's OK to have an abortion if the child is a boyAddiction is the only disease that convinces you that theres nothing wrong. I'm sorry you had to go through that. Well done for stepping up and providing a better chance for your daughter. | /r/MensRights | 12/08/19 12:19 AM |
| 1 | The Hamster WheelWhat's MGTOW? | /r/MensRights | 12/08/19 12:16 AM |
| 0 | The Hamster WheelYou should really look for professional help. Try some psychotherapy. You'll be glad after it. I really hope you dont have anyone who takes you seriously with that attitude. I hope you recover from whatever happened. | /r/MensRights | 12/08/19 12:16 AM |
| 2 | It's OK to have an abortion if the child is a boyAh people are incredibly resilient. Growing up shitty makes life much more difficult than it needs to be but with a bit of luch and a few of the right type of people anyone has a good chance at a good life. My money is on him being fine but I cant help but feel for the lad. Hes going to suffer if she meant what she said and doesnt sort her shit out. | /r/MensRights | 11/08/19 09:45 PM |
| -3 | The Hamster WheelNo it's people being oppositional. Blindly refusing to discuss a woman's point of view is the same as a feminist refusing to acknowledge a man's point of view. | /r/MensRights | 11/08/19 09:41 PM |
| -1 | The Hamster WheelBecause this is a sub full of logical and rational people. It's not an anti women sub. Refusing to acknowledge or entertain a well rounded discussion is exactly what is destroying mens rights in society. Feminists promote and discuss womens rights and throw in anti men sentiment. You have done the exact same thing here just disguised it as promoting mens rights. I want to be able to support men by acknowledging the importance of respecting both genders individual rights and more importantly thei… | /r/MensRights | 11/08/19 07:38 PM |
| -5 | The Hamster WheelThis looks like the indicators of domestic violence against men, is there a version for DV against women and more import as ntly is there a gender less one. DV is DV, surely it's more complex than male v female and vice versa, what about child perpetrators? | /r/MensRights | 11/08/19 07:15 PM |
| 1 | It's OK to have an abortion if the child is a boyThe child is at an increased risk alright ya but theres still a very good chance itll be ok. If this post really is 4 years old I'm sure someone can find out how she got on. It's not illegal to drink and smoke while pregnant tho. | /r/MensRights | 11/08/19 07:10 PM |
| 4 | It's OK to have an abortion if the child is a boyPlenty functional alcoholics out there. Youd be very very surprised. | /r/MensRights | 11/08/19 06:12 PM |
| 2 | It's OK to have an abortion if the child is a boyMe too but they are the only resources available to them. Some people unfortunately will never experience life without toxic relationships. Sometimes I think were working with someone now so that their grandchildren can reap the benefits because they just dont have the capacity to understand. | /r/MensRights | 11/08/19 02:02 PM |
| 1 | It's OK to have an abortion if the child is a boyI know nothing about her but I'd agree with the assumption that a NHS sponsored boob job would have had to be tied to a very serious mental health problem possible life threatening and supported my psychologists and psychiatrists. In terms of support I imagine she needs quiet a lot of help working on her sence of identity and self worth. I imagine her body and public opinion are where she derives her self esteem and it's only a matter of time before they become less that what is viewed as "desir… | /r/MensRights | 11/08/19 12:43 PM |
| 2 | It's OK to have an abortion if the child is a boyRetarded means backwards or stupid. Nobody worth listening to uses that word to describe people anymore and if they do it's an insult. I agree that I shouldn't have used it here but I'm on my phone and dont know how to edit a post. Your right. I shouldn't have used it but I didnt mean it as a derogatory way of describing someone with a disability | /r/MensRights | 11/08/19 11:34 AM |
| 25 | It's OK to have an abortion if the child is a boyFetal alcohol syndrome is awful and all but a good social worker will hold out for an asd diagnosis. ASD is much more resourced and unfortunately FAS isnt. Unless theres a significant history of neglect you cant remove a child. The family will take you to court and on top of that children do not do as well in care. In the long run it's cheaper and of better quality to keep a child at home and support the family to care for it. | /r/MensRights | 11/08/19 11:20 AM |
| 1 | It's OK to have an abortion if the child is a boyAny genuinely good suggestions for how social services could help? Please dont post retarded suggestions like arrest her or take her children. If you have no good suggestions be patient and wait to learn some. | /r/MensRights | 11/08/19 10:25 AM |
| 181 | It's OK to have an abortion if the child is a boyIf she has this type of attitude they've most likely been involved her whole life. Problem is there isnt a whole lot they can do. I dont think educating her on the dangers will help, she clearly knows already. It's disgusting that another human being will have such a disadvantage in this world because of this woman's attitude. | /r/MensRights | 11/08/19 10:15 AM |
| 4 | Group Therapy is an open space to help everyoneThanks. I should really know this stuff!! | /r/MensRights | 26/07/19 08:21 AM |
| 9 | Group Therapy is an open space to help everyoneThat's really interesting. Have you any sources to back that up? I had no idea | /r/MensRights | 26/07/19 08:10 AM |
