We can't afford to restrict it too much or not as many people would join. Feminists are ok as long as they at least listen to the arugments here, but hey, troll feminists can be removed later if and when they break the rules.

Backups are absolutely essential because none of these platforms care about their users. Even though we don't have a backup community to fall on, we do seem to have a archieve of all the posts we have posted. You are referring to the collective action problem. There's no escape from that. Unless of c, we are much more loyal to the idea of chance than we already are

you need to make private websites/forums where no corporation or feminist can stir the pot. lemmy is open source. If there are willing men and women out there, they can create a website just like lemmy with the code but for men's rights. It's unfortunate that coders and website developers who are overwhelmingly male, haven't done it already.

I am sorry, but although the right ain't a dream, it isn't openly hostile to men. We can't fight for men's rights without addressing the leftist ideology. They might have some good ideas (not the far left) but we really need them to stop being hostile to men generally to do what you are asking us to try to do.

I think you should visit lemmy.ml, it's a left wing dominated site, so I don't know how they would feel about hosting mensrights forum, but yes, the general idea and the structure is good. Also, creating one on short notice won't work, even I don't participate daily on this community. Moreover, why settle for less when we can create a working alternative and pin it to auto mod messages. The biggest problem with a backup community would be trying to get people to join. Every time reddit communities have tried to migrate it has either resulted in complete failures or SIGNIFICANT downsizes in members. I agree with you! We really need to backup now! But where?
