Guys also prefer women who are shorter than them. There isn't anything wrong with having preferences. Unrealistic preferences are bad, and that's my whole point. Women in general don't have unrealistic expectations, just a few tumblr and twitter users that reddit seems to be triggered by.

Statistics say that women prefer men who are taller than they are, and the men prefer women who are shorter than they are. It also says that both sexes prefer partners who are not overweight. What you won't find, though, is a study that says women have unrealistic height expectations (ex. men > 6 ft). Sure there are a few random twitter users or tinder profiles that get circulated on reddit but to generalize based on those few posts is silly.

Who's consent is necessary aside from the man ? The mother I think is the only option here What logic is there in anyone's consent being required for a man to verify that his son is his? I don't think it's a good law, but the title of this post isn't great.

It’s not illegal to get a paternity test. It’s illegal to have a secret test without consent, and if you got one on your own it’s not evidence in court. You just have to ask a judge to order one.
