Ha. Believe me I've done that. Oneitises are funny like that though. Even when you know you're going through one, there's only one way to get past it: time. I just got caught off guard with the way my body reacted. Something I gotta work on.

I've cut her out completely; changed numbers, deleted her on social media (though she still follows me on snapchat). I really miss her but I acknowledge and accept that there's reason why we're not together. I'll keep working on myself as usual. I just hope these reactions go soon.

Thanks. You've given me some things to consider.

I agree and what you say makes sense. I'm weighing the costs and benefits of elevating the nature of our relationship but I'm also afraid that I may be falling for her more than she's fallen for me thus far. Is that just a risk I have to take if I do decide to proceed or should I be 100% certain that she wants me more than I want her before I do anything?

With no thought of future consequences? I'm not sure that's what alphas really do.

I've read NMMNG which is why I'm here asking what it means when she calls me a gentleman and not a Nice Guy. Maybe some context on our relationship will help you get a better sense of the situation? First date: drinks. Talked about a bunch of shit. Found out she likes to cook. Told her to make me dinner one of these day and I would reciprocate later. Second date: dinner at hers a week later. We fuck. First time she calls me a gentleman. What was supposed to be third date: I hit her up telling he…

You're a moron if you don't know that sex first and foremost refers to gender. If you can't connect the dots from there then you need help.

Purpose: a quintessential component of masculine identity. Masculine identity: critical for sexual strategy Sexual strategy: the strategy employed by a member of one sex to maximize their biological imperative. Need I go on?

I did something like that not too long ago. Went snowboarding for the first time in my life. I grew up and lived most of my life in a place with no snow, so it really pushed me out of my comfort zone. It's something I will definitely do again, however I see it as something as more of a hobby than an actual career path. Aside from that I recently moved to a completely different country with almost no knowledge of it and had to adapt. That still hasn't helped me figure out what I want for myself, …

Hey you gave me good advice last time and I thought that you might be able to help me out again. I kept no contact and she hit me up today saying that she was super busy but that she still wanted to hang out (still didn't offer a day/ date). I told her that I was free Thursday and Friday night and that she should come over then. No response yet. I'm not going to go chasing after her but I do want to understand her thought process. She contacts me, tries to set something up - albeit weakly - and …

So you're saying that I need some kind of role model or inspirational figure to use as a starting point. Ok I see that. I don't really have any role models though. My dad was never very inspirational nor do I have any real passions of my own. Are passions == hobbies?

Thanks for your response. I see what you're saying and it's something I'll keep in mind going forward. For now I'm just going to keep no contact and wait for her to get in touch.

Yea I don't know her that well. Our date this week was supposed to be our first. Gotta build rapport first.

As I said to the user who responded, by aggression I mean I get to the point where I make it too obvious what I want. Last weekend I made out with her, but drank too much and made it too obvious that I wanted her i.e. all pull no push, tried to get her in my room, got upset when she refused and a general loss of frame. As a side note, I'm working on controlling my liqour now. What's stopping me from asking to meet up again is the fact that I know I fucked up and I guess I don't want to fuck up a…

Thanks for the response. However, I think I should clarify that by aggressive I mean more in my style of interaction as opposed to how I react when I don't get my way. For example, I've been told (and have come to realize this myself) that when I'm pursuing a woman, my intentions about what I want are often too clear to the point of being a turn off and making them uncomfortable. I could be wrong, but that's why I consider my behavior as moving from one extreme to the other and thus indicative o…

Fair enough but how do I avoid this going forward? Just raise my SMV? Why would she (or the girls for that matter) give me her number in the first place if my SMV wasn't high enough to begin with? I guess I'm just frustrated at the flake rate to be honest.

I don't want to date though. I just want to get in and get out. With this girl especially (she recently got married - her husband is in another country and I met her in a club) planning something more elaborate is the last thing both she and I want

That's funny because I texted her the afternoon after as I said by the "wtf happened to you last night" bit. Judging by her repsonses, and how she played into the whole santa act, don't you think there was enough interest?

Should have clarified: the transfer is an exchange. The professor's approval is required to ensure that the courses I take at the destination institution carry equivalent credits at my home institution. So far he's arguing that I shouldn't have to transfer because the credits I need are available at my home institution. The fact is though, it's not simply a matter of completing credits, but being in the best position to do so.
