About half a gallon a day should do the trick. I've seen people go up to a gallon. Just be prepared to shit a lot. Especially if you have a sensitive stomach. Try and start w a large glass at every meal and go from there

Stay in hostels. By far the cheapest way to travel. The flying in Amsterdam is really fun, especially the one near the red light district. San Jordi hostels are very clean and you often find solo rooms or rooms for just 3 or four ppl. Which is rare for a hostel. Do research before you go

The rest of the world doesn't have hard drinking ages like the us and canada. But yes, 18 is the legal drinking age in most of the rest of the world. As far as the language barrier is concerned, Barcelona Amsterdam and London are the easiest bets. Everyone speaks English in Barcelona and Amsterdam, and most of Scandinavia actually. London obviously they speak English.
