My issue is whenever I try to do this, I feel like my voice is so hoarse and weak if I don't have my voice readied. Like if I just saw a person and wanted to say hi, I'd have to get my voice ready sometimes otherwise it will just be some kind of weak "hi".

Make sure you don't fall into the trap of shredding now. Just keep getting bigger because if you shred now you won't have much to show underneath. Man is this true, typically I just withdraw or leave and it always ends up with her messaging, being sad etc... I always assumed I was doing something wrong if she seemed sad because I withdrew, but there are a few cases when I do argue, but that always ends with me pissed and saying something stupid. I agree, but I think that just further proves the fact that no one is perfect. Well said, contrary to popular belief on this thread, it is possible to have a strong distance relationship going on without infidelity being an issue, AWALT pretty much applies when you're in the wrong.
