It's battery, not assault. Assault is the threat, Battery is the action.

I've been in war, and there's no front line, so it's a bunk assertion. All the wars we're currently fighting are asymmetric, so every soldier is just as likely as any other to be put in combat. Without a front line, women are just as likely as men to be put in a combat situation. That's just the nature of our current wars.

Hey man, you and I may not see things eye to eye all the time, but you might want to take a step back and think about what you're thinking. This coming from a guy in a similar situation marriage wise, I know it seems like something you're not going to recover from, but just trust me when I say you will, but you have to keep pushing through it. Finances aren't important man...Your health is important and your life is important. Don't let the other shit make you lose perspective.

I think you're taking this internet thing a little bit too seriously.

And herein lies the issue...Brunt2 is convinced that everyone else also enjoys touching themselves to pictures of prepubescent girls. He actually believes this. Sorry bud, but it's not the case.

Semantics aside, it's fairly likely he did rape her yes?
/r/MensRights12/02/12 07:31 AM

No, I get that it's a tricky issue, but at the same time, if a woman is too plastered to remember whether or not she's been raped, she's too damn drunk for you to be sleeping with, and the only person OP should have ever been raging about was himself. His actions were very likely rape.
/r/MensRights12/02/12 07:11 AM

Just call this what it is man. This is rape. If she was too plastered to be able to make any sort of call, she was too plastered to give consent.

I have no interest in reporting you or downvoting you. I'm just saying it's ridiculous to hold others to a standard you can't seem to apply to yourself.
/r/MensRights09/02/12 01:33 AM

The UA also applies to individual posters. You are in clear violation.
/r/MensRights09/02/12 01:03 AM
6

The UA isn't directed towards Subreddits, it's directed towards users, of which you are one. If you're going to use the UA as a reason something you don't like should get shut down, at least try not to break the rules set forth in the UA in the very same sentence you dumb fuckhead. If hypocrisy were gas, you'd set the whole world on fire.
/r/MensRights08/02/12 07:47 PM

Yes it is. There's nothing funnier than crybabies blubbering about how the admins are going to shut us down any minute cause we're not playing nice. Especially when they use something like the UA against us all the while blatantly breaking the rules set forth in the UA. The irony!
/r/MensRights08/02/12 07:44 PM
7

It's a generic UA, which the admins don't uphold, so it's really kind of amusing when someone like nostradamuz whines and cries about the TOS as though it means something. It doesn't, it's just there to cover the site's ass.

So it's not wrong when you do it? SRS isn't a monolith, it's a group of individuals, just like you who see things differently than you. It states right there in the rules, "do not downvote," so the subreddit as a whole is not devoted to violating the terms of service. Some of the individuals who frequent SRS may downvote, but as you already stated, it doesn't matter when individuals downvote things right?

AND HERE WE HAVE THE AMAZING ATHEIST, A MAN WHO LITERALLY CRIED A RIVER OF TEARS MILES LONG ABOUT A PERSON WITH THE NAME ICUMWHENIKILLMEN BECAUSE IT'S OFFENSIVE TELLING SOMEONE THEY ARE GOING TO RAPE THEM WITH THEIR FIST. Apparently, it's only okay when you do it then?

Who the fuck talks in the mens room? You really shouldn't try to speak for men when you don't even understand simple things like this.

And who are you referring to when you say "you people"? I've made no references towards wanting anyone to die thank you very much. Don't generalize.

Wow, okay. Thanks for the info. Do guys like him post here often? Do they make up a large percentage of your movement? Also, wtf is wrong with him?

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? THIS IS THE SHIT THAT GIVES THIS MOVEMENT A BAD FUCKING NAME. You sound like a paranoid delusional nutbag. Almost every woman in the US makes false accusations against men?!? There is no grand conspiracy against us. There are issues which are serious which face us, but to pretend that those issues are some sort of grand conspiracy just shows the calibre of deluded assholes this movement is attracting. I could get behind some sort of lucid discussion of legitimate issu…

Does that not seem a bit out there to you? As if, I don't know, it's not something which is a regular occurrence despite the fact that you've heard of it happening on one occasion? Seriously, this is why you come off as paranoid and delusional. The fact that you choose to use those paranoid delusions in order to excuse someone having cp on their computer makes it all the more ridiculous.

I think maybe this guy's just trolling really really hard right now....Either that or he's really fucking dumb. Either way, pearls before swine man.

Not a feminist, first off. Secondly, you were defending people who possess child porn. I'm not okay with that. Third, your post over there was basically saying "but what if somebody hacked into his computer and put CP on it, as this is probably the most likely outcome of all." Your post was basically saying that this could be an instance of shit that never happens happening and hence we should all really concern ourselves with it. I'm sorry, but you came off as paranoid and delusional and as a C…

Okay, I'm trying to understand where you're coming from here...Do you not think that Men's Rights are also sexist then, using the same logic? Should people who don't want to be sexist either way then use "Egalitarian" or something like that? EDIT: Nevermind, I think I get what you're saying.

No, I'm not claiming you guys are psychos, I'm claiming that there are a lot of sick people in the world who might read the comments you guys are making and the rhetoric you are using and take that to mean that it's okay to harm someone who's exposed as a member of that forum. Just because they are potentially dangerous doesn't mean they are dangerous. In this country, you are still presumed innocent until proven guilty, and if the only thing you can prove them guilty of is rhetoric, I don't see…

Outing rhetoric is one thing. Posting personal information so that anyone may do as they please with it is another. If they haven't committed a crime against anyone other than in thought (which as far as I can tell still isn't illegal, here in the US anyway) then what gives you guys the right to be judge and jury (and potentially executioner)? Do you really not see the potential for really really shitty things to happen from this? I know it's easy to get caught up in your anger, but putting peop…

I'm going to go ahead and say that that's probably because of the rhetoric going on on this subreddit. You guys equate the writings of these feminists as "genocide" and "killing men"....It only takes one or two good and crazy's to take the rhetoric here and apply it to real life. Give them some addresses and names, and the enemy you've built up and there's going to be blood on the streets and it will be on your hands. Do you think these radfems deserve to die? If not, you guys might want to tone…

Men can absolutely opt out of being a parent. They can't however opt out of taking care of a child they helped conceive. That's the thing here which blows my mind about you guys...there's no fucking sense of personal responsibility. If you had a hand in making the fucking child in the first place, don't shirk your responsibilities to that child just because you're too fucking cheap to pay for it. Also, SRS isn't a specifically feminist subreddit. There are a lot of feminists there, but it's not …

First off, I'm not a feminist. I don't associate myself with any -ist for that matter, so that strawman's out. That having been said, what the fuck are you even talking about...you make no goddamned sense. I'm just going to ignore most of what you're saying as it's kind of stupid, but I'll just hit on one thing here...Paying child support does not equal having more responsibility for your child. That's ludicrous and insulting to anyone who's ever been a single parent. Also, what the fuck does ra…

Did you read what you just wrote? Did you read what I wrote? I'm confused as to how you could possibly think the two are related. I'm saying that you guys shouldn't use children when it's politically convenient (ie, when it makes women look evil) and then turn around and denounce any responsibility you have towards children in the next breath. It's hypocritical.
/r/MensRights10/12/11 04:07 PM

I'm a man too, and frankly I think a lot of the ideas espoused here are ridiculous on many levels. If you're going to argue that Oppression against men is an all important thing, and that you're just looking for equality, then I shouldn't be seeing people saying that this place is for bringing women down a peg. Add to that the language you guys use here...paying child support is not slavery, it's paying money to assist in the upbringing of a child. You can't say that you care about children's we…

I like that you guys pretend to care about the children when it's convenient but when it's not you think financial abortions should be your right. Which is it MR? Are you for children or against them?
