"Why aren’t some friendships contingent on sex? " Well you set the rules for what someone has to do to be your friend, obviously, so that's up to you. But if it is contingent on sex, you should say that up front, and expect rejection because no woman is going to be like, "Oh I have to have sex with you to be your friend? Okay then! Plow away!" They are mostly going to say no, but it's not fair to lie to someone to get what you want either.

Because you clearly didn’t want to be real friends. Friendships aren’t contingent on sex. Yep this. Exactly.

"Why do you get upset that men don't continue being your friend if you don't have sex with them" Lol, because friendship isn't about sex? It should be about appreciating each other, giving each other advice, and hanging out and doing things together? " He cuts ties with her, he will not be her pet. " You think friendship means being a pet, it does not. Why would men say they are okay with friendship when what they really want is sex, and they don't see the woman as worth enjoying as a friend? If…

I don't agree with that. I know just in my personal experience that women oggle men they think are attractive just as much as men look at women they think are attractive. It's more that we're a visual species in general when it comes to mating instinct. Anyway I think the whole made up difference was only ever made up by people who want to police what women wear. Like in Saudi Arabia, Iran, or even as a less extreme example, female dress codes. Women get horny too. They just maybe have more self…

I think a lot of leftists are criticizing the problems with masculinity you outlined, you're just basing your concept of the left on cherry picking. Feminists don't really want men to be workhorses to be disposable or to be protectors or providers. They want women to be independent. Maybe study some actual academic theory on gender instead of basing your concept of the left on some idiots on Twitter?

I feel annoyed at every bullshit fake internet celebrity. She's not unique. FFS this stuff is actually old by now, remember Tila Tequila?

Yeah I'm also a female aspie, I tend to be very direct about my feelings and I initiate and ask guys out (or did, currently in a monogamous lesbian LTR). I prefer to know where I stand exactly than to put up with childish games and hints.

I just think it's not equivalent to compare, on one side, assigning a whole host of bad tendencies to an entire sex, and on the other side, assigning to a sex one assumed characteristic that is not necessarily malevolent. Both are sexist assumptions, I'll give OP that, but one is a lot more negative. Edit: What's more comparable to AWALT is not saying all men are merely horny, but assuming all men are going to beat you, cheat on you, and leave you, and that they're all superficial and will leave…

Yeah theres no difference between a woman saying "all guys want to fuck me" and saying up front "no I have a boyfriend" to the 9th hound that hits on her that day, and a man who says "all women want is to fuck alpha men and steal money from betas to support a lazy and consumerist lifestyle, and all women are lazy whorea who are going to cheat on you and destroy society and abuse men" despite never having interacted with any woman who's ever done anything remotely close to that. /s

Idk if your mission has to be so lofty as like curing cancer or something. Women just prefer if a guy is going somewhere with his life. If he is doing something meaningful to him. There's a lot of guys who are just in average but decent paying jobs that still usually end up married, because it's always good to have a direction and goals. If you date someone in a serious way you're saying, I want you included in my future. So it's good at the initial stages to at least have a plan for that future…

They can't prove any of that shit works. Where are their studies? They only have hypotheses. Not facts.

I think the family court system thinks treating marital assets as shared is in the best interests of children, but now that women are almost universally expected to work that notion that men's money becomes the family's money in marriage is on its way out. Hopefully. It means we're defining marriage differently in a way that no longer revolves around procreation alone. Marriage laws involved procreation in the past, that was the real reason marital rape was allowed, it had nothing to do with mal…

It's not ethical to cause pain, including emotional or psychological pain, to another human being. Most people can agree on that. In dating, ethical rules are set up to avoid intentionally causing pain. So lying and cheating are immoral in dating because of their potential for harm and to cause violence, sort of like for the same reasons that cheating at poker is unethical.

This is true. Standing out, by having an interesting life in some way, a special talent that stands out, or a distinct look or personality trait is a good benefit. Lots of the rock stars from like the 80s who got laid like legends weren't actually all that handsome, and when they started out they weren't that successful either, but even then they were having no problems getting laid. It was their uniqueness, their ability to stand out. Because the average woman gets more attention than she wants…

I was hit in the eye by a strange man, for no clear reason. If it had been a woman I doubt I'd had to go to the ER and get stitches. It would have sucked but physically men are stronger and more aggressive on average than women. Because that's what testosterone does. If men have a right to worry women will use soft power, like influence over children, sympathy winning on social media, and crying in the court room, women also have the right to worry about men and how they will use their muscles. …

I think it's not that they're dangerous, the opposite. It gives women a sense of security to know that the man they're with is capable of fighting off other men. We had a violent past as a species. It would make sense to have that instinct. What you will hear women say as a big complement to men they like is "I feel safe with you".

Countless religions? Only Islam. In Christianity the afterlife is specifically stated as free of marriage. Hinduism and Vedic religions tend to believe you keep getting reincarnated until you experience something that releases you from the cycle of karma. I guess you could get a harem of virgins in one of your lives but it's not the point.

" without cramming the fact that she's a woman down the viewer's throats " IKR, that's what I like about a lot of anime heroines too, that they can kick ass for the sake of kicking ass but not to ram home some out-of-the-blue gender preaching.

I think thots are obvious and only really stupid or really inexperienced guys fall for them. The bottom 10%. Most guys are likely not that stupid. Idk if you can always trust friends to be objective regardless of gender. Maybe a female friend will play up your new bfs worst traits as more than a big deal than they are because she's jealous and wants you to stay single so you'll still do gf stuff with her. Maybe a male friend would do the same thing because he wants to be with you instead. It's n…

I meant during Puritan colonial times, you could get a divorce on the grounds of impotence, which essentially could mean either the husband wasn't satisfying the wife, or that he wasn't able to sire children. It led to some very interesting trials for people who supposedly hated sex, in that then it could be up to men to prove they could get an erection, before a court.

They used to have this legal view of marriage and that's why marital rape took so long to be criminalized in the United States. The idea was that marriage was implied to mean allowing sexual use of your body, in addition to promising to not allow anyone else. Feminists see it as men used to think marriage meant they owned women, but it was probably more nuanced than that. And it also meant the husband could be sued by the wife for not providing sex. It was sometimes grounds for divorce. If we go…

Probably, it's sort of like a cult that's latched itself onto academia. Sick really. Religions control privately funded universities and everyone loses their minds, these guys pervert science to make it seem like their cult-like ideology makes scientific sense when it clearly does not, nobody says a thing...

I've never seen a fully educated man who was so arrogant and self-aggrandizing before. Makes me think his education failed him or he was just too stubborn to learn in the first place.
