2	Where to start as a complete beginner and loner? Tell a chick you're the king of civ V or whatever, and the image conjured is a lonely guy in his boxers munching cheetos and staring at a screen for hours uncounted. NOT what you want! –	Where to start as a complete beginner and loner? Do it now... I have to think it gets harder as you get older. Once again, I was fifteen. Other kids of my intelligence were turning their intellect towards science or law or whatever (and mostly not getting laid)... I turned it towards observing the guys around me who were getting sex (or at least girlfriends), and imitating what they were doing.
