Um... here's one, babies are only given lidocaine. Now, when I had my son, I had an epidural, but by the time I had pushed him out, my epidural wore off. At the point of pushing, I had no pain killers in place and had a fourth degree laceration.They only used lidocaine to stitch me up. Well, lidocaine is supposed to make you completely numb, however, I felt everything with the stitching despite seven separate lidocaine shots. Oh... sad part for me is, I'm related through marriage of my step dad to this lady. I've actually met her too. She was at my mom and step dad's wedding. Seemed perfectly "normal" per se then. As well, once she was released by the police, she went back and once again barricaded her room mate in. She got arrested again. Huh.... Never knew that, then again being in public school, I struggled in math greatly and often just skimmed through with the bare minimum. Obviously something I don't want for my own child. Thanks you're awesome. I will definitely put my husband in charge of math and determining books then. He knows much more than I do when it comes to math.

I think I may have misused the word stigma. I think I meant more the judgement that some may have against you. Sometimes I misuse words and don't realize it, until someone calls me out or corrects me. My husband and I live in Wisconsin. That's bull crap. I would love to hang out with any other stay at home parent dad or mom. I don't get why so many women have such a horrid attitude towards stay at home dads. Stay at home dads rock. Thanks. Toughing up will definitely be something I will do. I will try my hardest to make sure he has the tools he needs in life and knows when to use them and not to use them. As well, equality will be something he will always be taught.

Oh okay. That's what I figured you were saying but I wanted to clarify first and not just assume. Yes, for me that does sit poorly on my views of morality and justice too. No these girls shouldn't be labeled as felons at all. So very true that teens and kids get criminally charged for things nowadays that even 10 years ago, no one would bat an eye at.

Yes, it makes me sad because of the many more different things I will have to educate him on, just to protect him. He is a sweet boy and will always be raised to be respectful and sweet, but it still scares me that someone could ruin his life, just because he is a male.

Um, actually recently here in Wisconsin, a guy was in jail, no custody agreement in place with his ex. She moved out of state while he was in jail. Due to the fact that they did not have a custody order or agreement in place before he went to prison, his fight with the Wisconsin Supreme Court to order her to move back was lost. Unfortunately, without a custody order in place, she can take the child anywhere. She has primary placement as of right now even though it is not court ordered. Your friend needs to go to the courthouse and file emergency papers for custody of the child to stop the move.
