communication IS key... but only if they communicate back. if they’re not willing to properly listen or express themselves, drop em

same here honestly, as someone who does smoke i want to be able to share that with my partner. i was in a long relationship with someone who didn’t smoke and it just added weirdness and stress to our relationship. of course, the guy still needs to be on top of his shit and have a real job, etc. but i definitely need someone who will smoke with me at the end of the day. plus, i rather that over someone who drinks all the time.

that’s cause women are taught to think of others and men are taught their god’s gift to this planet 🙄

i don’t think you understand my point then, i’m not saying it’s on the woman at all. but it’s the same thing as saying “if he wanted to, he would”. it’s not about the right woman coming along, it’s when a man decides he’s going to get his act together because he understands she’ll leave if he doesn’t. i’m really not sure what about that you disagree with...
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/10/20 06:08 PM

exactly this, it’s more about when they decide to start treating women correctly and stop acting selfish

100% i’ve had a lot of guys pull the “watch you’re gonna catch feelings for me” only for it to turn out the other way around they never like that i care less than them or they get insecure/jealous about what i’m doing when i’m not with them (which is probably nothing but they don’t know that lol)
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/10/20 08:18 PM

not really, just makes a LVM a little sharper to fool the next woman that makes the mistake of talking to him lol

yeah i recently met a bunch of 24(ish) women that i was becoming friends with but pulled back because half of them have lip fillers, they talk about wanting plastic surgery ALL the time, and always denigrate themselves (omg i’m so fat, i’m so ugly, etc. when they’re not fat or ugly by any reasonable standards) it was sad but that energy was not it for me
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/09/20 02:07 AM
46

yeah i agree with this i just wouldn’t respond to anyone who starts off with “hey gorgeous 😍” or any other variations of that
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/09/20 01:25 AM
28

well said, that’s why they love the “you’re not like other girls” BS so much. i used to think it was a compliment but now all that tells me is that the majority of women they interact with are not comfortable/interested/impressed with them
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/09/20 11:59 PM

you can have that too, the think with psychedelics is that you have to ease into them. if you take .7 grams of shrooms, you will not hallucinate. you’ll just feel a little trippy and the edges of things will move a bit. if you take 1.25 grams, you still won’t hallucinate, but you’ll trip in the sense that colors will blend and there will be other visual effects. i definitely think everyone who is interested should try it eventually and i get the fear (i was afraid to try for a long time myself) …

i’m jamaican and can definitely confirm this, it’s can be a very misogynistic and homophobic culture, especially for people who have grown up and lived there.

yeah i had to end things with a guy i really did like because his dick was small like fully erect i could wrap one hand around it and hold the entire thing and my hands aren’t that big.... it’s was sad honestly but when we had sex i couldn’t feel anything and id just be laying there. nothing feels worse than that it’s like being a human sex doll

too bad that’s what the regular news is like too

this is so true!!!!!! cats’ affection has to be earned, they only come around you when they trust you and deem you as safe.... any man who doesn’t have enough patience for that AND blames the cat for not having blind trust like dogs do is a red flag.

i guess, but she seems like she’ll get satisfaction from it and the money she would make is also a draw generally the best thing to do is to move on and never look back, but in this case i think it’s okay because she’s helping another woman get what she deserves. a lil comeuppance for him is just the cherry on top
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/09/20 07:55 PM

it’s divorce court, not like she’s sending him to jail... like i sorta see your point but i’m hoping it’s real lol there’s no law against her representing the other woman

in the comments someone identified OP as a man, let’s just hope he’s crowd-sourcing ways to be a better boyfriend....

yeah totally agree, depends on the person and what they consider intimate
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/09/20 09:59 PM

personally i think: GF: exclusively seeing them (not other men) physical intimacy and spending the night giving small gifts general consideration for their feelings (more than u would have for a friend but not as much as you would consider ur own feelings) maybe i’ll cook for them (only rarely and bc i enjoy it AND they’re doing the dishes) small getaways / vacations meeting my family ———————————————— Wife: All the above plus, living together splitting bills / sharing finances (although always h…

i think that’s fine, but i would never clean up after a boyfriend (or a husband tbh)
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/09/20 07:53 PM

yup, i learned my lesson when it comes to cooking for a man before commitment 😅 never again edit: cleaning for them is a no regardless tho. even if we’ve been married for 20 years, we’ll be splitting the housework 50/50 like college roommates idgaf

what would your list look like then?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/09/20 07:49 PM

this is so important!!! one of my friends is the typical “jumps relationship to relationship, literally never alone or single” girl and i’m always telling her to do something outside of her relationship because when it ends, you won’t have anything left.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/09/20 03:38 PM

i’m weak
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/09/20 07:56 PM
7

Yup i can always tell when a guy is just interested in me for my looks, rather than my interests, personality, or literally any word that comes out my mouth. “you like to read?? you’re too beautiful for something nerdy like that ahahaha”
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/09/20 07:31 PM

there’s nothing wrong with recreational sex in its innate sense. the problem is people who will lie and scheme and abuse others to get it (read the majority of men) also yes, most birth control methods can negatively impact women, but that’s because science is dominated by men who don’t care about the side effects we experience. there are (or there were in the past) male birth control pills but research on them was stopped because the side effects were “too much”.... yeah right.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/09/20 07:02 PM

LOL !
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/09/20 06:58 PM

and the responses are: “of course you’re the asshole!! how do you think he felt with you emasculating him like that?? he’s a man!!! you totally crossed a boundary by making it so that he can’t provide for you... and obviously you should’ve washed the spoon, you’ve got hands and vagina don’t you?” and “nah she was asking for it brother, i mean what did she think was gonna happen?? doing the dishes is a woman’s job, every thing you did in response was her fault for putting that pressure on you”
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/09/20 03:41 PM
53

smh weak men want to control women because they’re insecure about themselves and are scared that any moment, the woman is going to realize it too and leave for someone better
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/09/20 02:55 PM

i think her point is that neither person disclosed their relationship to her and a lie of omission is still a lie.

just talked about this the other day but quinn morgendorfer from daria (when she’s not being an asshole to daria lol) also elle woods (legally blonde), charlotte (sex and the city), and nikita (nikita lol)
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/08/20 07:18 AM

yeah the reason he’s oblivious to is called personal health and fitness goals... but men only live for each other’s gaze so they assume everyone else does too. smh pathetic

i would say when we get engaged is when i’d want to live together, and immediately establish that i’m not doing more house work than i would if i were alone.

I once matched with a guy through OLD and within the first 24 hours of us texting, he asks me to check his homework since i had a marketing internship and it was a marketing class. I say what the hell, good deed for the year right? When i open the document, I realize it’s actually an presentation someone else made for an entirely different assignment.... he was going to just hand that in because it was “close enough”. Literally not one thing in the presentation matched the rubric (that i made hi…

ha understandable! i will say though, that he and the other writers always stress that their characters are extreme parodies meant to point out how awful people are

so gross! tattoos are not an invitation touch me, like have you never been to a museum??

they lie because they know if we knew the truth we’d never stick around

this is up there with the men who suddenly realize girls and women should be respected as individuals after they have a daughter... so no other woman you encountered until now was worthy??

i went to add a comment and also got banned... wonder what part of my comment (below) was so offensive? The comment: everything you’re feeling is valid (particularly the part about feeling like a second choice because he (probably) wishes he could be with these “you can look, but never touch” women. i don’t have real advice, personally i find it unattractive when a man “thirst follows” like 100 insta models but i also typically leave social media out of my relationships because i feel it creates…

i LOVE the way you phrased this. also one of my biggest fears, watching someone you loved become another chore/obligation

as she should! we’re looking for partners, not couch potatoes

how is it invalidating if i said “i think”? is this not a place to discuss and share thoughts? just because i don’t didn’t agree with you doesn’t mean i don’t respect your opinion or the way you personally feel in your relationships. edit: also, there’s a difference between recognizing that someone is attractive and being personally attracted to them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/07/20 09:07 AM

i think you will always notice when someone is attractive, but anything past thinking it to yourself isn’t okay
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/07/20 03:53 AM

ah yes because a crazy and accusatory rant about women not liking you is the best way to attract more women...

i literally only read that sub to comment “leave him, please” under most of the posts
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/07/20 04:31 PM

This doesn’t seem like a red flag to me either. personally, i’m not a huge texter and pre-covid i sat in my boss’s line of sight so i would never be on my phone during the day. BUT, i also communicate that to people who might be expecting my attention. so it seems like this is a case of different communication styles
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/07/20 08:50 PM
16

And yet they hate to compete for (read “earn”) a woman’s attention... it’s almost as if they know they don’t deserve it

thank you for posting this, i watched a documentary on sexual abuse in the US military (i believe it was called the silent solider) and it was THE saddest thing i’ve ever seen in my life. the supreme court ruled that rape is a “occupational hazard” of being in the military and thus the women couldn’t sue the government for damages and medical bills (for injuries sustained during the abuse like a broken jaw). *** Any man who tells the women in their life that they should join the military CANNOT …

that’s concerning to be honest. it seems like he was giving you compliments because he was attracted to you (or at least interested in some non-platonic fashion), but now that you didn’t respond the way he wanted you to he’s trying to take you down a peg. I feel like this is really typical for guys when they feel rejected, ex: “hey, hey, hey... okay fuck you anyway ugly.” (i’m sure i’m not the only one who has experienced this while walking down the street) If you actually value his place in you…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/07/20 05:19 PM

100% agree with this Platonic friendships are completely possible and should be respected, but there are boundaries that need to exist

i guess when i give ultimatums i mean them so let me further specify, and if he doesn’t tell her, OP needs to ACTUALLY leave for real (not for fake)
/r/RedPillWomen01/07/20 07:29 PM

this is sad because i just started using reddit and am really amazed by certain things, for example this page or r/whatsthatbook but there’s also so much hate and anti-women rhetoric, and now these unfair bans and the fact that r/deadeyes is a thing.... it disgusts me
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/07/20 05:25 PM

As long as you continue preparing for the divorce and actually do it, then good on you!

To be fair, men are scary but i’m more afraid they’ll assault me in the street than make fun of me. go to therapy and focus on self esteem, self image and self respect.
/r/RedPillWomen01/07/20 04:41 PM

if he were going to leave her, he would’ve done it already if he will cheat on his wife, he will cheat on you (you cannot trust a cheater!!!) a divorce is a divorce and it will affect his kid whether he does it today, tomorrow, or ten years from now. as someone who’s parents split up when i was 3, trust me when i tell you the younger, the better Again, if he cheats on his wife- he WILL cheat on you. it’s prob hard, but put yourself in her shoes. instead of working with her on their issues, he’s …

you’re 100% right that he’s not really sacrificing anything by being the “sole provider” because if he really felt like he was losing time with the baby, he wouldn’t be against helping out for a few house so you can go back to work you could suggest that you guys should switch places and he can stay home with the baby. I promise his response will prove his top priority isn’t quality father-child time
