I honestly don't think that's hypocritical, but I do consider hypocritical is that many women seem to think it's okay to vilinize men despite the "loneliness epidemic" (which I don't think this is anything relatively new considering men have often been expected to repress emotion and PDA toward anyone, friends, partners, family). It's not acceptable to push or influence anyone into a relationship or sexual encounter under any circumstances or for any reason but to expect people to be friendly an…

If they recognize that this is the reaction they have then it's on them to create a change in themselves. People make mistakes, they react badly before realizing how they have fucked up but once you are aware of the mistakes you make there is no excuse to continue making them. Give them this example: a man grows up learning that a high body count is bad thing for a woman, so when he goes on a date with a woman and she mentions her body count he inadvertently makes a face which offends her. He th…

As someone else already said, you dodged a bullet. She chose to share an intimate photo, you didn't ask, she reconfirmed that she comfortable with sharing such things with you because she trusts you, (A+ on your respose to the photo also, double checking consent and making your intentions clear) but then she flips and says she feels used?? My head is spinning. That's definitely not a rational response from her, she's clearly got some issues either with accepting responsibility for her own choice…

The only way I can rationalize her feeling betrayed is if there's some sort of trauma involving sex/ her sexuality or that shes actually mad about something else entirely. For her to feel that way just because you admitted you find her attractive doesn't make any sense at all considering you two have been friends for 11 years and she admitted herself that she feels romantically attracted to you. If there is sexual trauma that she's dealing with she may be separating romance and sex which is why …

Oh I'm sure someone would, something along the lines of men believing that women can't think for themselves so someone (a man) must have coerced her to commit a crime or maybe men believing that women must be home with the kids so that's why they get less time. In reality, women are less likely to be perceived a threat to society as men- so they get lesser punishments if any at all- and this absolutely a privilege to being a woman. I'm positive there's more to it but this is a privilege I can ea…

I just watched that! And such a simple change in language would make a difference. I feel like some people argue that there is no female privilege because looking at a side by side comparison of certain aspects of life, women do get the short end of the stick but to say there's no privileges to being a woman is simply not true, and as a woman I will gladly attest to this. Just one of those privileges being that it's not often assumed that I'm dangerous or have ill intent in the same instances th…

I feel this is less of discrimination against a man as it is discrimination against someone who is not his child. The father is giving him a huge discount on rent, even if they did split the actual payment in half he's paying significantly less. I could 100% see the roles reversed especially with the idea that most women nowadays are entitled moochers. This is just a case of a parent looking out for their child. Maybe it will cause some unintended problems between the couple but I don't think it…

Yup technically speaking rape is defined by penetration so unless a woman uses a strap on or anything else to penetrate a man it's defined as sexual assault not rape

You said: 2.3 percent getting killed while not committing a crime, is not the same as 100 percent getting killed while not committing a crime They said: If 2.3% of 434 white killed men were not committing, it is still more than 1 black woman killed while not committing a crime. By your own logic, this would mean white lives are worth less to you. No one is saying that it's OK, or even ok to overlook, for anyone to be killed while not committing a crime. Looking at numbers 2.3% of 434 (about 10) …

Men would have to get hard for sex to happen. That is often seen as "consent". To expand on this also: there's a very broken perception that if SA is enjoyable or pleasurable then it's less traumatic. Just to be extra clear I think that's ridiculous and possibly completely backwards thinking. The way I see it a SA that results in an orgasm or pleasurable physical feeling is usually more confusing and traumatic. And this may play into the underreported SA on young men/ children

I'd say 99% of the time it's a no, I'm one of those women with a that protective mindset, I have and will continue to risk my safety for the people I care about, man or woman. But I'm also not a dainty little woman either, I'm aware of my own size and strength and I'm not afraid to use that to my advantage if need be lol

I'm struggling to see the main point of the song I could see no mans land as being unclaimed territory as in she's a free person and doesn't belong to any one in particular which goes with the whole breaking hearts thing (like men being disappointed that she doesn't settle down with them, not that she's actively crushing men's hearts) which I wouldn't say is misandry. But I'm doubting that's the point of the song. Or no mans land as her heart/love is incredibly dangerous which goes along with al…

Because how could a woman, so physically inferior, possibly hurt a man right? It's not violence if she can't actually hurt you... (/s, /s to the max)

I obviously can't speak for all women (especially since I'm well aware that some women do have the attitude you decribe) but for me the creepy sense I get from some people comes from past trauma. Oftentimes I feel a little panicked when I get hit on. I have enough self awareness to recognize that the creeped out feeling is coming from me not from any actions/comments the other person has said or done especially because men I find wildly attractive can creep me out too with out them doing anythin…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
