If their partner is fond of talking shit to strangers and getting in peoples faces in public, I’m guessing quite often. Probably very reluctantly. And yes, clearly this is not the majority. Still, wouldn’t say it’s incredibly rare either.

Seems we agree on more than we disagree. Was just that final sentence which initially made me think “and it was relatively productive until here”. Though I would also add, clearly nobody sane would even attempt to minimise rape. It is awful and thankfully the vast majority of us are in lockstep there. I would slightly take issue with your percentages relating to false allegations (I’m familiar with some common methods how numbers like that are arrived at). By definition, similar to trying to get…

I was almost completely with you there until that part at the very end. Firstly, let me be clear. Yes, if someone is shithouse drunk, I don’t think it’s wise (for multiple reasons) to fuck them, especially if they are largely unknown. However, this framing I find beyond annoying. Assuming the person is an adult, they and they alone are responsible for both their choice to get drunk, and to have sex (assuming it is consensual and in no way forced/coerced in the moment). Let’s also not forget that…

This is both an oversimplification and a generalisation, so bear that in mind. However, an obvious counter here is that many women seem to be utterly clueless in identifying what they specifically respond positively to. Oh sure, they will often say certain things. And I think generally, they at least somewhat believe what they are saying. But there isn’t a man alive who cannot relate to the idea of a woman lamenting the lack of men with certain qualities, only to notice her actual choices in men…

Granted, I will accept that some women may not be terribly interested in casual sex. The vast majority though? At all? A rather large portion of women are certainly fond of claiming that. For many, their choices and actions say otherwise. As always, actions over words. I think you vastly underestimate the prevalence of women who have engaged in casual sex of their own volition and choice.

Not a woman, but familiar with it. Always thought a more apt alternate title would be “Even perfection isn’t enough”. Perhaps “best of all worlds”, or somewhat less charitably “ungrateful and unappreciative selfish asshole”. Calm down. I know it’s fiction. Still, clearly marketed toward and primarily consumed by one half of the gender fence. That fact is not ENTIRELY irrelevant.

It is not my intention to be rude, merely direct and with minimal dancing around the issue - as evidenced by my overt recognition of not disagreeing with your assessment with regard to the pecking order argument. Went out of my way to say that.

That is to deliberately miss the point though, isn’t it? I don’t necessarily disagree with your assessment there, but the question is WHY women amongst themselves so consistently adhere to this in group “slut/whore” stuff whenever they wish to hurt another woman. The fact that women do this amongst themselves consistently even when no men are around makes your initial idea/assessment I responded to at best incomplete, and at worst, deflectionary nonsense.

I don’t know why some women haven’t learned that this kind of response, despite your intentions saying it, just reeks of overtly lying and/or a stunning lack of self awareness. It would be similar to a man claiming “nah, i dunno, looking at naked women just doesn’t really interest me”. I would expect if a straight guy said something like this, everyone in the room would rightfully say “bullshit” without hesitation. Same thing here. You don’t see yourself in third person. You don’t do all this no…

I’m not sure the last sentence is as cut and dry as you make it out. When someone is primarily goal driven (whether that be for a relationship/marriage/kids/whatever), I think it is often more convincing than most guys like to believe. Even to those who claim to know better. The obvious issue being that one can only expect certain behaviours that were previously concealed to be much less so once they have gotten what they wanted.

Peculiar would be a very cautious way of putting it. Personally, I’d say delusional reality denying nonsense would be closer to the bullseye.

Pointless asking. Pay attention to behaviour, not words.

Oversimplification here, but boiled down, the old obesity vs starvation idea. Many of women’s issues in this space are related to having too many options, conversely, for many men the problems stem from a dearth of options. Yes, not everyone and clearly to varying degrees. But there is the broad divide made as simple as possible.

The point being made there is that what constitutes “average” in terms of number of potential sex and/or relationship options is wildly different between the genders. Clearly, most will still pair up at some point. However, to pretend that the number and availability of potential options open to men and women broadly are even remotely the same, is straight up reality denying. The person you responded to had a much more statistically valid description of an average man compared with your emotiona…

This explanation does absolutely zero to address a plainly obvious common reality. That being, in a situation where a woman hates or wants to hurt another woman, what is almost every time the first insult used? That’s right. Some variation of “slut”, or another derivative. Even in circumstances where “being a slut” wouldn’t be directly relevant to the reason for conflict. This particular kind of deliberate insult among women themselves is really consistent.

Not an answer to the question being asked, but first thought was “according to one particular thread apparently there are at least two ex escorts active here today.”

Not an expert on the specific demographic you mention, but taking the point of the “average man” label. Simplest way to say this would be that women by and large have a tendency to think our experience with attention mirrors theirs. The average man does not have a decent percentage of the women in his life trying to fuck and/or be in a relationship with him. Whether they know it or not (whether via ignorance or delusion), a lot of men in a woman’s life are likely to be receptive to either sex an…
