This is probably one of the top reasons. I have a few friends who insist they pay the bills and are very independent financially. Interestingly it's exactly them who got left or cheated on.

I think you overthink your relationship instead of just enjoying it. There is always a chance someone better than will come (regardless a new girl or an ex) and steal your boyfriend, there is no guarantee in this world. Also, the older you get, the more relationships you will have had, so will have had your partner. Work on the way you feel, start by the way you look, if you look your best, you will feel more secure about your relationship.

You should be careful with such a strategy for life because to me for instance if someone is behaving this way, it means he doesn't like me enough which automatically means-find someone else and leave him alone. If you cannot stop talking when in contact with him, you don't get the chance to know if he likes you as well. And this is a huge part of the way things will develop with him. Let him do more of the talking next time. If he is not showing any interest and being to eager to talk to you as you are then you should not waist your time.

I think they taught you everything you need to be in a good place when you get older. I don't really agree on the cooking and cleaning since I think if both partners are working, it's not fair only one of them to take care of the house.

I totally agree with you that looking nice after long years with being with somebody is very important. But there are a lot of cases which prove that not only women but men as well stop putting the effort and gain weight. It is True that life changes and priorities do so accordingly but I think it is actually rather insulting to your spouse to neglect the way you look after you feel you had caught them for life. There would definately be less cheating if everyone thought the way you do.

He has absolutely no problem with having sex with me, he is doing just fine. As I said, I am not always in the mood and he has his own needs. Also, sex with a real person is always a lot more time and energy consuming, there are a lot of factors to do it a nice experience. Porn is just a quicky for 1 min.

You should firmly explain to your family that marriage, kids, relationship, etc. are entirely your bussiness. They can give you advice if you ask them specifically but not put you down for that. I would try and show vulnerability in your situation and tell them that these kinds of comments make me feel awkward and hurt my feelings and their role as a family is to support you, which from what I understand, is the last thing they are doing right now. Tell them you are disappointed in them.
