ermmm, yeah - that comment was meant to be facetious... and thanks for the advice, but I really don't "need" to do anything - least of all use some myopic paradigm to constantly evaluate every single social interaction in order to compute my attractiveness to potential Stepford wives. (I'll just keep doing my own thing, and have fun with any chicks whose life happens to cross paths with mine. And I totally don’t mean to say my way is ‘better’ – to each his own. I just find the rat-race tiring.) …

if by "date", she means "pump and dump", then the answer is "possibly"

yoga pants are actually suuuper, suuuper comfy. i tried a pair on once as a dare. I'm pretty sure most girls wear yoga pants for strictly utilitarian purposes

yeah, straight up asking a girl out at the gym is suuuper cliched and cringeworthy - not to mention unprofessional and immature. Like, once in a while i've even seen some girls in wayyy to tight shorts checking out their own asses in the mirror, trying to get attention. and no guys were even staring at her ass because they were all too busy doing their own work out routines. Like maybe, maybe if you become friends with the employees and regulars and hang out with them outside of the gym -- then …

Yeah, but like, shouldn't he spend his weekend making friends, not talking to strangers at a bar and then reporting back to reddit like an autistic faggot

Wow, OP is super lame. Like, if you can't find friends to go with you to a bar, that probably means you're boring and/or autistic

perhaps, there are alternative answers. but 9 times out of 10 (or 99 times out of 100), most of the girls who are decent girlfriend material are already taken, and the single ones are perpetual loners or have something wrong with them that precludes them from establishing a long term relationships. maybe if a relationship breaks up, you have a few week or 1 to 2 month window of oppurtunity to swoop in. The exception to this rule is probably freshman year of college at a selective small Liberal a…

its sort of like efficient market theory & heard mentality. Where people buy a bunch of stock simply because other people are buying that stock, but when people stop buying stock then its price goes down and people start selling. its like bitcoin.

no, its a rational thing. Like, one is more likely to get hired out of college if he has a ton of internships or already has a job. However, if someone has been long-term unemployed, potential employers will thank that theres something wrong wtih that person and won't touch him b/c they may think he's a liability, etc. (so that's why people who lost their jobs during the recession are kind of screwed). its sort of like that economist joke where an economist and a friend are walking down the side…

girls want what they can't have. some girls are only interested in guys with girlfriends, and as soon as the guy breaks up with the old girl to pursue the covetous whore, she loses interest and moves on. Girls are also obssessed with what's deemed 'popular' or in vogue. Lots of girls (especially the ones in sororities) are only interested in guys who've slept with alot of women. So they shamelessly pursue the biggest man-whore, just because he's a man-whore (and no other reason). Like I've met o…

i think this is more of you projecting onto other people. like, you're assuming all women want a commitment from any man they encounter and its men who act like st. peter preventing the commitments. I've met plenty of women who just want sex and no commitment from any guy. and i've met some women who want no sex and tons of commitment from a plethora of guys. like, yeah, the kernel of truth to this whole thread is that any halfway attractive woman can walk into a bar and get laid without even tr…

Nahhh, I was being sort of facetious. I'm just saying that girls who have a financial incentive to be in a relationship with me, will try to prolong that relationship (if they're acting as rational economic agents...).

This is why I'll never fully trust a woman until she's financially dependent on me. I'm glad science has now confirmed my worldview.
