Oh shit. He's still not a total moron, and now he has facts, RUN! You're pathetic, and I think you know it.

minor benefits The prevention of infant death is not minor. Just because you don't care if a child dies doesn't mean the rest of us don't. considering alternatives Oh you have the right to consider alternatives. What you don't have is the right to restrict other peoples choices for their own children. It's a free country, if a medical procedure prevents disease and you'd rather the child be at risk, you don't get to block other people from getting it. That's just insane. You deny that they are a…

but certainly harassing me. It's not even harassment. You can stop commenting anytime you want. It's not like I've been spamming your inbox. The study said it's not conclusive It said no such thing, the study was to find whether or not circumcision reduces the chance to get UTI's. And it found completely conclusive evidence that it does. The study did not make a statement about whether or not we should ban circumcision because that's an opinion, not science. But you are, I repeat, you are ignori…

had enough of assaulting me You are so pathetic. I am not hurting you. If you want to ignore international science and join the droves of people that believe whatever they want with no acknowledgement of reality you have that right. But don't act like a child every time someone points out how dumb you are. If you're not willing to learn when someone shows you how you're wrong than you have no one to blame except yourself.

The study is internationally peer reviewed, and you are intentionally ignoring it in order to protect your belief system. You are just like those fat, ignorant, twenty-something year olds I see down at the local church. You're an idiot.

You're straight up ignoring a scientific study. You are fundamentally undeniably ignorant.
/r/MensRights14/04/14 03:38 PM

You mean before you found out about the medical benefits? That misunderstanding was based on misinformation. So what's your excuse now that you know better? Intentional ignorance?

You realize that the study included all uncircumcised boys, not just the ones with bad hygiene, that was literally a factor that was covered. And the circumcision still resulted in a huge reduction in UTI's even with your hygiene. So at what point does your hygiene hypothesis come into play?
/r/MensRights14/04/14 05:27 AM

Alright, I'm going to play a game, I'm going to leave a scientific study below my comment, and then you're going to explain to me why you're ignoring it. You ready? Circumcision was associated with a significantly reduced risk of UTI (OR = 0.13; 95% CI, 0.08 to 0.20; p<0.001) with the same odds ratio (0.13) for all three types of study design.

I have proven my side, remember? You were ignoring all American studies and so I brought up an international study. Of course you ignored that too, but at least now the truth is out in the open in a way you can't deny it.

Look, I get why you're trying to make the argument a big joke, you're embarrassed that you were wrong. But kids lives are at stake here. If a law gets passed making circumcision illegal children will die. You're fighting against a medical procedure that prevents a lot of diseases, just because you can't handle the concept. And at this point you're only holding on to that idea to avoid losing an internet argument, which is just sad.

We can prevent kidney infections by removing a kidney. Let's prevent broken legs - remove them at birth. Oh good, more fear mongering. Except that removing a person's kidneys kills them, and removing someones legs makes them handicapped. See, that's the thing about arguments, when something is actually bad, there's usually something you can point to and say, "look, this is bad." You have nothing. Not one thing. What does that tell you?

a babies dick You realize the common age of UTI's is 3-7 right? So apparently you're not a child molester, you just don't understand UTI's. And let's not forget that you called circumcision sexual assault. reduce sexual pleasure Nope we've covered this several times. That's not true and you know it. And so will you, so what? They are told it will prevent disease, which it does. I did read the study. It says that circumcision is not necessary. It does not, that's the blogger again. This is the results of the study: Circumcision was associated with a significantly reduced risk of UTI (OR = 0.13; 95% CI, 0.08 to 0.20; p<0.001) with the same odds ratio (0.13) for…

I don't think arguing with you about circumcision is serious. And that's why the molestation comment was okay? By lying to them Nobodies lying to anyone. Wait, so your source isn't credible now? My source was the fucking study, not the author, I told you who I was citing. How could you get that wrong? Read the studies results, not the the australian blogger conclusions, the actual study. LOl. I like how you are still taking this seriously. It's adorable. So, the reason you said we should molest little kids is because you don't take molestation seriously? That's comforting. But they use anesthesia. If it's not painful then they ought not. I'll try to take this slow so you understand. They use anesthetics, because it would be painful, but because they use anesthetics, it's not actually painful. These are things you should be able to understand without me needing to explain them to…

You dodged my question again, why would you dodge such a simple question. Maybe because you know the answer is wretched. Anyways, let's talk about medical benefits. I'm going to bring up a study from the Cochrane Collaboration. The Cochrane Collaboration is an international not-for-profit organization. I repeat, international, and all of their studies go through a multi tiered peer review system which involves teams of scientists from a multitude of countries. Here's their study on circumsicion …

It's completely fucking relevant. That was your alternative solution to children dying to infection. It was something you brought up. The real reason you aren't answering is because you realize what you said was horrid. You advocated molestation. So, I'm going to answer your question, and then you're going to answer mine. 10 year olds still get UTI's frequently due to bad hygiene. You really seem to enjoy and advocate the sexual assault of children. I am quite uncomfortable with you being so adamant to do so. The fuck are you talking about? That whole thing was your stupid idea. taking care of the kid's needs by molesting them? So you're now making an argument for touching little boys and calling doctors pedophiles. This is getting weird.

sexually assaulting There it is again. It's not sexual assault, just because you disagree with a procedure doesn't make it somehow sexual assault. MEDICAL MISUNDERSTANDINGS: 2 You like to pretend it's not sexual assault and mutilation because the parents make the decision and there is anesthesia and it's performed in a hospital. How does providing a link take any effort on your part? According to you you searched through that site and found articles that refute the article I provided and are now too worn out to provide a link? No, the reason you don't provide a link is because you don't have one. The only thing you've had are links to articles that are written by random people quoting rumors. That is a terrible source. That guy used the worst process to calculate mortality rates I've ever seen. You really need to research your sources better.

painful scars and deformities, penis amputation, or death. You're going to have to pull some real stats on that. I'm fairly certain if a newborn died in America due to a botched circumcision it would make national news.

Even though that's fucked up, I'm getting pretty tired of the circumcision hate. Circumcision by a medical professional is not genetal mutilation. Saying circumcision counts as genital mutilation is an insult to anyone who has actually suffered genetal mutilation.

It would be better. And I think most college students would agree with you.

Wow, okay, it's not that serious.

Wouldn't that just be a female dorm?

You're right, State Schools wouldn't be religious, still if they had separate dorms and both dorms had it it wouldn't be sexism. It would be a general lack of trust in the students. I'm thinking back to my own college years at a baptist university.

Or it could be a religious university and a female dorm. They probably have a similar sign in the men's dorm. I see that all the time and it's certainly not sexist.

What? Did you mean if you lend someone money and he doesn't pay you back it's still stealing? I don't know what you're implying with your analogy. But rejection does matter with sexual coercion. It's the difference between rape and a mistake.

The study doesn't say that. I think you might be assuming that. Again... The findings revealed a need for more scientific study of the thin line between sexual seduction and sexual coercion, the authors wrote. “While not typically addressed in sexual violence research, unwanted seduction was a particularly pervasive form of sexual coercion in this study, as well as peer pressure and a victim’s own sense of an obligation. It's possible they never explicitly refused the advances based on peer pres…

Yeah, I wouldn't call that a woman being pushy, I would just call that rape. Calling a rapist pushy is like calling an arsonist a nuisance.

Okay again, the study doesn't actually go into whether or not the coercion was rejected at first and persisted.

We're both quoting, that's not selective editing. Obviously physical force is rape, and the rest could be rape too. I'm saying none of it disagrees with what I'm saying.

I'm scouring your link for more information on the study. But so far it looks like they didn't include information on whether or not the victims refused sex at first and then were coerced through persistence. I'm not saying that that study isn't clearly horrifying, but I don't think it actually conflicts with the point I was making. Edit: The findings revealed a need for more scientific study of the thin line between sexual seduction and sexual coercion, the authors wrote. “While not typically a…

they will have no reason to change The law not working is a pretty good reason to change. The only thing that blaming feminism could achieve is to uproot the whole law, which would be bad. The intention of the law was never to mark good people for life, that was just poor implementation. So we need to reimplement, not run around trying to blame the whole concept.

Well no, don't get me wrong, I'm sure there were some, but our society tends to teach men that they should always want sex (which leads to all sorts of fucked up problems for men and women) while teaching women they should be picky and conservative. (Again, all sorts of problems for men and women)

Most guys would stop at the smallest indication of lack of consent or even lack of interest. I knew plenty of guys in highschool who were pushy. It's actually pretty common. Edit: Oh and my first comment was not "demonizing men" in any way. That is a major over reaction.

I'm just saying that story would imply that the problem you're worried about isn't a problem. Edit: The picture in the post blames feminists. That's what I'm referring to.

gave every indication possible that it was against her will Shit man, I would hope most guys would stop at the first indication.

Wouldn't the story imply that it doesn't automatically lead to punishment? This guy was high functioning autistic and groped a 12 year old girl, and got NO punishment. On top of that his mother lied about putting him in counseling. Then the second time he got court ordered counseling. At what point was the punishment too severe? And could we not blame feminism for these kinds of things. It wasn't the direct intention of anyone to treat people with autism harshly. Yes mistakes were made when impl…
