I unsubbed shortly after I found MR, I think it popped up on /r/all, and I saw them talking shit about MRAs and got irritated. Someone pointed out that it's actually /r/feminisms, which-- confuses me, but whatever. Fuck them. I'm getting more and more cynical toward feminists. perhaps...but it was these lines that may have contributed to my misinterpretation. These are privileges and strengths that are bestowed on to women as a result of current/past cultural predispositions, and maybe one day they could be a thing of the past, but the real issue here, I think, is that no one really holds women accountable for abusing strengths. Not one really teaches girls to be aware of those strengths and to not be ethical and responsible in the ways in which they exercise them.

The likelihood of the US allowing another draft is highly unlikely anyway, making this whole argument moot. Women are allowed to sign up and serve the same as men-- the subject of the draft will probably be addressed if there ever is one--which, after Vietnam, is HIGHLY unlikely. The recruiters just target poor people instead and start a voluntary draft when they run out of warm bodies, which women are more then welcome to jump aboard.
