In the uk the front seats are kinda politely reserved for pensioners/pregnant/people with disabilities. They used to have signs up saying this but I haven’t been on a bus for years. So they might have taken them down. It’s not a law it’s just politeness to offer the seats if asked. There is no excuse for harassing someone into it though

Sadly it’s always expected the man pays even when he earns less than the woman. We are only valued as providers.

Far right? Who says that? 🤔 I’d say we are very conservative compared to some of the other subs. You look at the hate in those other subs and they get away with clear bigotry because banning them would raise too much negative press. So no, I say we are far more moderate.

Reddit site mods have no balls will regards to confronting male hate. Wouldn’t let it get to you.

How can we report that sub? No sub should be so obviously sexiest for either men or women only. Blatant sexism but I suppose it’s ok when it’s against men 🤷🏻‍♂️

You’re still missing the point. Women have the choice to have a baby or not. Men have zero choice in the matter in either becoming a dad and have to pay for it for 18 years. That isn’t morbid it’s reasonable not to want to have your life effected for a quarter of your life due to someone else’s decisions. So to reiterate, women have all the choice men have none. Men aren’t saying women shouldn’t have the right to abort, we are saying we just want the right to choose same as women. So if you can,…

Well in 2 years I’m finally free of the obligation. I could have paid a house off with what it cost me. Didn’t have any say in the matter.

I made this point in another thread and got no reply by the person replying. We will never get a logical coherent reply from women or the government on this.

STEM is a passion. It needs to be due to the type of work involved. I’m hoping that things are being taught differently in schools that will help diversify the spread. I try to minimise crap like social media. But it’s been ingrained into the psyche of the masses now. Usually it takes the individual make the conscious choice to stop using it. But it seems all Orson Welles had it right. It’s a double edged sword. As tech becomes more part of life, these subjects will need fresh minds to push the …

I think social pressure is partly to blame as well. I'm sure there are girls who like stuff like that, but maybe their friends aren't so they feel pressured to do something more expected. Look at what things are valued in society. Superficial shite. So inevitably these types of 'unsexy' jobs don't always appeal to them. I know that's generalising, but it's what I've seen with my girls and their friends. And that's with even having parents who work in STEM jobs.

I try to get my daughters interested into careers in STEM. Like I show them the stuff I'm doing or try and get them to look at other areas that they could go into that they wouldn't have thought about. But they just aren't interested. They just look at the expected type jobs. It takes a strong woman to go into these fields I think. But it's not for a lack of us parents actively encouraging them to do something different. I'd love to see my girls in engineering or science, maths etc.

We should start some change.org petitions for things like this. Can’t see it changing that much but it’ll but pressure on the people writing this shite. Maybe they’ll think twice about publishing this toxic rubbish if they risk personally being outed as a complete moron.

My mate went through this on a work night out. Bizarrely the CPS decided to take it to court. He got fired from his job and faced massive court costs while she got legal aid. Unbeknown to her he’d made a recording of her in the morning, her being totally lucid and admitting the act. Also admitting she felt bad due to having a bf. Something my mate didn’t know. Once it was put in as evidence the CPS dropped it like a hot potato. He was still fired while she kept her job and he still had to pay £2…

CSA is taken out by the employer. Non payment leads to a court appearance. Only way out is to go self employed and declare the bare minimum. That’s not always possible depending on what sector you work in.

It's stupid shit like this why I stay single. My ex gets nearly 35% of my wage before taxes and she earns twice as much as I do. And I still have my kids half the week. Pay half of clothing, pocket money and holidays as extra. This is CSA in the UK. So I have to cover her half of custody as well as my own. And yet we still get ball butsed out with 'inequality' 3rd wave feminism claims. We should just nuke the planet and start again :D

Arh right. From what I’ve seen it seems some men are just really bad at spotting the difference between friendship and attraction ques. So they feel embarrassed or angry when they try it on and get rebuffed. I’m sure some have an entitlement feeling also. Along with a host of other reasons. We’d drive ourselves mad coming up with all the reasoning.

3 years dealing with that is no short time or lack of commitment. Most of us wouldn't deal with it for that long realistically. Yeah it sucks for him but let's all be reasonable.
