I found similar to character californication — Hank moody, though I don’t know how accurate the show script according to psychology or something. can you point to the particular episode or season you saw ? Just to see comparison with other tv shows to see if any similarities between two.

I think I can relate this very much to intial version of myself where I am only focusing on getting her to like me by using tricks like asking personal questions and making her feel like I really show genuine interest her but actually I was pretending. I think deep down everyone knows women's are also people but nerves to talk with them, the only suggestion I give is that treat both gender same so over period of time you will over come that nervousness
