2	A rant about self-improvement and the anti-PUA direction of dating. OP sounds genuine to me. Obviously he chose the path of self improvement and developing healthy relationships because it appeals to his character. The disconnect is between the results and the method. He's not getting the results he'd hope for, and not for lack of trying. So he's reevaluating his path, he could go more PUA oriented and get laid but betray his values or keep going as he has. 1	Is there a way to recover from neediness? Could you enlighten me a bit, as I was in the same situation recently. Had two good dates, made out and some bases but no home run. She really opened up to me afterwards. Next week she started flaking when I tried to set up subsequent dates, and she stopped initiating. Her reasons seemed valid the first two times, but by the third time when I asked her directly when I could see her again, she gave me a really reluctant answer.
