"Before we go any further, I should tell you I have HPV. So does 75% of the adult population. The best way of protecting yourself is for us to use barrier protection (condoms, etc.) but there's still some risk involved. Is there anything you want to know?" Do NOT have this conversation immediately before sex. Should be a once you know it's on the horizon, before you start taking each other's clothes off.

It is assumed that you already have at least one or more strains. That said, it would still work to protect against other strains. Definitely worth talking to your doctor about.

Yup. Eating well, not smoking, and generally keeping healthy can help prevent future outbreaks after you deal with this one.

I am 100% of the opinion that a man who has expressed his desire that the woman have an abortion and is refused should NOT be held financially responsible for said child. Unfortunately in our society this level of equality has not yet been attained. If, however, a woman decides she does not want to be held finan…

My point remains the same: ultimately, it is the woman's health that is at stake, non the man's. If the relationship between the two will not be continuing past conception, she has no reason to tell him. If, however, the man is going to be remaining in her life for whatever capacity, I absolutely believe she should tell him about anything pregnancy-related.

Sure, it's the man's fetus, but it's the woman's uterus, and while men can go on making sperm afterwards, one botched abortion can forever end a woman's reproductive years. Morally, it would be nice if the man got to have a say in the fetus's future. As a woman who wants to have kids one day but not tomorrow, I'm going to consider the health of my reproductive organs over what the possible dad wants. If that means having a baby he doesn't want, so be it; if it means terminating a pregnancy he'd …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
