1	Title Change for /r/Mensrights I hear you. I don't understand why one of the recurring criticisms of feminism here is that it's not about equality, but propping up women at the expense of men. Meanwhile, this group is completely focused on the rights of men, many times disregarding the possible expense to women's rights. If you want to have an equal society, why divide it like this? 1	This about sums it up. Right, and this is wrong because the woman doesn't accept any risk of being responsible for a child when having sex. 1	This about sums it up. Not true. One can choose to give a child up for adoption. Adoption is a morally responsible choice. I was saying it's morally irresponsible for the man to sign away his financial responsibility to the child and leaving it at that. Having an abortion removes the reality of a child. A "financial abortion" is just ignoring your responsibility to the child. 1	This about sums it up. He signs away those rights because of the way our bodies are. He inherently loses control over what happens in the pregnancy once his sperm is out of his body. He can either have sex and risk the creation of a child, or he can not have sex. This is his right and also the fact he needs to consider before having sex with someone. Nobody is stopping him from making that consideration, just as they shouldn't stop the woman from her options once she's pregnant. 6	If men who get women pregnant without their consent are reproductive abusers, surely women who get pregnant without the explicit consent of the men should be called the same? The concept of consent regarding pregnancy rather than sex makes no sense to me. If you have sex consensually you are both inherently consenting to a possible pregnancy.
