This is realistic. Western culture is more individualist, people become independent adults once they are 18. But in many other countries, even if you are an adult and make your own money, you are still considered a member of the family. In these cases, establishing independence and not letting your family engage in your private life may be a more realistic and suitable option than going no contact.

You deserve someone who appreciates your worth and treats you with respect and love... You did the right thing and we love you! ❤

Because they don't see women as humans. They see attractive women as properties they feel entitled to own and impose their expectations, but unattractive women as worthless.

Of course there is a level of interpretation in each case, but most of the judges are men and I believe they subconciously empathize with male oppressors as nobody can be completely impartial, which is even more risky in countries with jury system. Another problem is whether self defense can only be made during the attack. A recent case in my country, a woman shot her husband (after he beat her up and went to the other room to search for a gun to kill her) but the prosecutor decided it was not s…

For self defense to apply, there is the principle of "equality of arms" which means if somebody is beating you with bare hands and you stab them/ shoot them with a gun it's considered disproportionate, even though an average man is stronger than an average woman. Or the judge has to evaluate whether it was possible to stop the attack by another way without resorting to violence but it's unlikely for a woman to restrain a man. These are logical if both people in a fight have similar physical stre…

This is the most illogical and invalid argument ever, only used by men to play for sympathy. Also the number of upvotes was around 100 when I first saw this post now atound 80s.. Male lurkers didn't like your post so it's certainly true!

From what I observed, they swipe right on everyone without even properly evaluating the photos then still complain about matches because even the women they don't find attractive dislike them 😂

Thank you so much for this comment, it clarifies exactly what I meant! I absolutely condemn emotional abuse, and it is not ok. Yet men usually paint rejection or a woman not babying them or asking them to take responsibility as emotional abuse too. And unfortunately, most women suffer from male emotional abuse (cheating, insulting, financial control, age gap relationships, manipulation)...

They don't see it as rejection though. They think they are entitled to date any women they want, and also entitled to insult or disrespect women they don't find attractive.

I believe 50/50 is unrealistic. It's a mask men put on when they expect women to give 100% while they only do the minimum contribution. I have observed that men who are very defensive and afraid to be "used for money" have trust issues and can't develop an emotional connection. In their head there is always the strategy of maximizing the profit. I find this to be very sneaky. And using someone as an emotional punchbag is much worse than using someone for money...

Yet they continue to blame women because "eMotiOnal aBuSe is JusT as bAd as viOlenCe". They are so delusional, they think rejecting men is a hate crime.

I think she should have disagreed him to buy expensive games from the beginning. If you don't call out bad behaviour, you train the other person to keep acting that way. What level of pickmeisha do you need to be to let your kids wear secondhand clothes while your husband spends thousands on literally unnecessary shit. That being said, the husband is the bigger culprit, he is such a selfish LVM! You don't need to be called out to provide for your family, what kind of a man would complain about "…

I cringe when somebody says this, because it implies a woman can't be single by choice but it should mean no guy wanted her and they are suprised because she is pretty.

I advise not to move in before you are financially able to get married. You don't want to do all housework/ cooking on top of your busy work schedule (which will likely happen since he works full time wheras you work part time). If the living situation is easy for him, he won't even feel the need to get married. Apart from that, I wouldn't want to marry someone who I might grow to dislike in the future and deal with a possible divorce.

Wtf she sounds like she is actually jealous nobody harasses her at the gym? So desperate for male attention that she is willing to throw other women under the bus because they "should have been flattered" if creepy guys comment on their body and despise attempts to save them 🤡

I think they know deep down that they are ugly and can't do better, but also sense your lack of self esteem which leads you to believe this ugly guy is your equivalent and use that to manipulate you. If you visit any incel/red pill subs, they focus on beautiful but unconfident women and treating them like shit to keep them "submissive". It's nasty!

I can't stand how men view themselves better than they actually are and feel entitled to the best women without showing any effort, but us women usually struggle with self confidence. Yet, they would continue to shame us for having standards, because wE aRe nOt a priNceSs and must be grateful if the guy barely works.. I'm convinced they collectively try to lower our self esteem!

You gave the difficult but correct decision and I'm proud of you, congratulations! You gave yourself the best new year present. Now it's time to channel your time and energy into yourself instead of this guy. Block and delete his number, change your locks, if he tries to stalk you or anything issue a restraining order. Then, buy yourself some nice gifts and enjoy your best life queen ❤❤

Girl I looked at your profile, you are so pretty! But just be careful not being anonymous on a place like reddit especially if you are active on FDS.

She also won't have anybody to go for help (assuming she doesn't tell her parents or distances herself from them for this guy). Then, he will have all the power on her :(

Ugh, where to start.. The age gap is just creepy, he is targeting and grooming her since she doesn't have any life experience (and honestly not quite smart either). She is completely unaware and in denial "oh I don't mind but ny parents would be mad". Like girl, if you are still afraid of your parents' reaction, maybe you are still a child and not old enough to date guys twice your age?! Regardless of the age, I'm against dating a person whom you have a different hierarchal position (like boss/e…

Also we need to clarify real meaning of FDS, it helps us understand we are worthy and should not sacrificing our time/energy/life into men who don't value us, rather focusing on improving ourselves. It doesn't mean we must radically support any women's post on the internet at the cost of appearing illogical. This only gives incels and pickmes more opportunity to attack and discredit us (like they did on the comments, because the author supports FDS etc)

I usually evaluate things on the woman's perspective, but this doesn't sound fair. The room is not just for his gaming, it's an office for both their business and if his husband works from home, office space (which helps them make money for a living) is much more essential than a wardrobe regardless of how princessy it makes the wife feel.
