Where do people even get the idea that anyone deserves to be given a "chance" in dating anyways? If you don't want to date someone then everyone else can buzz off with their opinions. Whether you broke up with her because of major moral imcompatibility (and giant red flag for abuse) or some trivial preference, you don't owe anyone a romantic or sexual relationship.

Not a son, but my father worked incredibly hard to provide for my brother and I and encourage is in our education. I don't know I got so lucky to have a father like him. He's the reason my brother go into fixing up old cars, and is now about to go to grad school for mechanical engineering. I think I've got more of my mother in me but my father was still incredibly important in expanding my political views and teaching the importance of hard work.

That's really oversimplifying the issue. Yes we should educate ourselves and try to educate others. But the reality is that people do get into bad relationships, and those people often end up needing help. Prevention is always good, but it can't entirely eliminate domestic abuse. There needs to be fair laws as well as support for victims.

I agree. It is true that circumcised men will never know what they are missing. But if they are otherwise happy with their condition there is no sense in making them feel like they are damaged goods or less of a man. I actually didn't read the article because it wasn't available without paying. I understand that the gist of the issue here is men facing discrimination in certain fields especially education. I am the product of split residential custody for about 15 years. It was not ideal especially in terms of moving myself and my close belongings from one house to another twice a week. It wasn't too awful though and I think my only issue from it is that now I get restless living in one place. And luckily my parents considered my brother and I a priority over their own issues and differences.
