Covert surveillance of human subjects isn't allowed, so all researchers have to measure are lies.

Unemployed mill workers don't care about 4chan, they care about being screwed over by put-americans-last trade and immigration policies that mainstream liberalism hasn't begun to reconsider.

This. The "programmer" was doing data entry for the "systems analyst" because there were no high level language compilers. Now that job has been automated away.

If you have a job, the best case is a day-long endurance test, followed by a jet-lagged week of binging twice a day. It's an amazing glimpse at a world I wish I lived in, but it's too infrequent to improve my attitude like regularly seeing someone local.

I may never understand why some people are so determined to miscommunicate their sex. I doubt anyone is even interested in whatever they think they're communicating instead.

The only way to know whether a man actually prefers relationships is to give him all the casual sex he could want. A hell of a lot of men are just taking whatever they can get. Merely average is nowhere near good enough.

Didn't inbreeding and lead poisoning make the emperors literally crazy?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/17 06:00 PM

Yeah, women say their preferences change, but their dropping enthusiasm tells us otherwise; only their available choices have changed and they're not happy about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/17 09:16 PM

If women freely offered it up to everyone, great. But we believe women are reluctant to settle after having had a hotter man, so casual sex just makes them more picky, which isn't good for anyone except the minority of men they favor. TRP is written for men who want to understand how to make the best of this; it's not for women at all.

Yes, though it took me quite a few times to get over the anxiety and internalize that I can always decide I'm going to get laid today rather than wonder if it'll ever happen.

Also did any of these women date any of these guys or just say that they would do it? This. Social science about sex is pretty much all garbage because you can't bug your subjects' bedrooms and find out whether anything self-reported is remotely true.

Stories of dragons and aliens and magic rings are obviously fictitious, because each of those things is missing from most other stories. But love is in nearly every story, and we're assured it happens in real life.

Art doesn't communicate information, it inspires feelings. When ten viewers come away with ten different ideas about the world that's rightly celebrated. When a design spec makes the rounds, if ten readers come away with ten different ideas about how our system is expected to work, that's a disaster waiting to happen because communication has failed.

I didn't waste my time at the gym like you. "But Fonda ain’t got a motor in the back of her Honda"? Exercise didn't give her a hot ass. Mainstream advice is a bunch of wasted breath about long term health benefits, hardly anyone says "do it because people are shallow and you'll get laid more" even though it's a much more realistic motivation. Gay men know what gay men are attracted to. Straight men don't know because straight women rarely admit it.

I could go around saying I fuck mammals, and it would be technically correct (the best kind of correct), but nearly useless because I actually wouldn't fuck most mammals. Women's sexual orientation is very particular and "men" leaves out most of what we need to know.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/17 09:13 PM

We should stop calling women heterosexual. It doesn't mean what it would if a man were saying it, and it's not a good description of a woman's orientation.

Nobody needs permission to describe the TRP perspective here, and the mods do not censor people merely for doing it badly. The best I can do is make sure an accurate version shows up somewhere in the comments.

It's something more primal than social status. When I see a pro, the last thing I want is for anyone to know, yet the experience dramatically affects my mood for days in a way that masturbating never has.

Groping strangers who haven't shown any interest is a stupid and dangerous strategy I'm not going to defend. But you're arguing about "emotional damage" from a grope while ignoring that caused by never getting laid, a drive only slightly below hunger.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/17 02:55 AM

Wanting to be tall doesn't make me tall, and elevator shoes would only make me look tall. I treat "white", "black", "man", and "woman" that way; they are objective descriptions of a body rather than beliefs or behavior.

This. TRP is full of men who have been sabotaging themselves by showing excessive courtesy and deference to women (which looks weak and desperate because it is). Urging them to keep doing that is not going to go over well.

TRP makes a lot of sense when they explain why younger women choose the men they do, why older women get involved with men they don't lust after, and why they lie about their reasons. Even TBP concedes about 1/3 of it is true, though they sound surprised that anyone didn't already know that part. I've pretty much stopped expecting anyone to show up with better explanations.

Herbivores spend calories running huge complex digestive tracts. We spend calories running huge complex brains and barely adequate digestion because we became accustomed to hunting and cooking prey species. Turns out ours was a better strategy. If we were herbivores we'd be stupid enough for neandertals to keep us on farms and they'd rule the world. Money doesn't depend on classes. Women (and don’t forget that men do this as well) may prioritise different traits in a long term partner as compared to a shorter term partner. But it’s usually to a fairly mild degree. I think you're underestimating the number of aging women who have bait-and-switched some guy because it's handy to have a celibate roommate around. $1500/year is $125/month. That's about seven pairs of movie tickets with no food. A man paying for dates is going to spend a hell of a lot more than that.

Nobody likes fucking people that they find unattractive, this should go without saying. You've read us saying how badly we needed to learn this, and you still think it's better to keep men in the dark? That's cold. I don't know why you bring it up like it's so fucking fascinating all the time. Because for me hardly any women are unfuckable, and I can't really imagine feeling otherwise. We need to keep in mind that women's motivations are very different.

The agenda of TRP is sex. Why is TBP so determined not to believe this and instead project their own "validation" and "emotional connection" goals onto us? If I say I'm hungry, nobody thinks food doesn't matter and what I really want is to express my emotions with a cook. If vulnerability led to sex, that's what we'd do. It's not our fault women don't react that way.

Lots of species have eager males compete for picky females. Every engineer knows that a system needs both positive and negative feedback if it is to keep running stably. Every contributor to TRP is risking his own livelihood and reputation in an altruistic effort to advise men who otherwise had little if any hope left. TRP doesn't discuss compassion and hope because it's not useful to do so--women do not dole out mercy fucks and they don't favor altruistic men.

The red and blue pills are a good metaphor for ending or accepting a lifetime of lies that make you easier to control. Specifically what those lies are? That could be almost anything. The Matrix trilogy didn't offer any special insight into how men were misled about women, and we don't have to agree with the directors about what "man" and "woman" mean. Edit: the films suggested blissful ignorance as a possibility (which should be rejected), but for us the blue pill was misery.

Sex is just a mechanical process. There must be more to it. Why do men seek sex with women? Men who didn't crave sex died out. Eating is also just a mechanical process; do you look for some loftier hidden motivation behind hunger or accept it's just an inborn need with an obvious purpose?

Good moral character is honesty and courage and loyalty, not muscles and grooming. If men and women make equal pay, men won't have the pressure of being the primary bread winner. That would only work if women were equally likely to fuck underemployed loser men. It's funny how TRP explains very clearly what I was doing wrong and what I believed that isn't true, where TBP tends to say "I'm doing fine" without really nailing down how good "fine" is.

Fat and ugly is normal. If the average lasagna had shit, it'd be pretty weird to claim you're into it and deny that you're only looking for the rare ones that aren't disgusting.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/16 05:08 PM

Anything I can get. I pay for it and some of those women are ugly. If TRP works well enough that I have a lot of options, that might change.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/16 05:04 PM

Is what you wear every single day solely for the purpose of attracting women? I used to believe women are above all that. Now I need to lose enough weight for it to matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/16 03:52 PM

Only if you want to be honest. I don't say "mammals" when I mean "hot girls".
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/16 04:28 PM

They don't believe you are trying to further the agenda of TRP. What are you trying to accomplish, convince us they're mistaken about you? What have you written that gets men laid?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/16 09:56 AM
3

When have you turned down sex? There were a few days I had the flu and told someone I was dating I couldn't come over. But telling someone no face to face is inconceivable.

Yes they do, and they shouldn't bother.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/16 05:38 PM

"Proper" is not a diet. "Cook your own food" is not a diet. This is why good advice is hard; you actually have to understand and spell out what other people don't know. An explanation of how women can even tell whether you use machines or free weights would also be helpful.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/16 05:36 PM
2

TRP doesn't have anything insightful to say about men because it's women they pay attention to.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/16 05:31 PM
1

Have you tried frequent sex? I think you're underestimating how much it changes your outlook even knowing it's paid for and not love.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/16 07:32 AM

They're just whining that women are not brought up to feel bad about taking without giving. TRP tells us this doesn't work and we were fools to expect that it would.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/16 10:00 PM
5

Why is TBP so convinced that sex is merely a means to an end? Nobody thinks the reason for eating is dietary validation, because hunger is real and evolved for obvious reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/16 04:17 PM
1

Deadbedrooms has a hell of a lot of choreplay stories. It doesn't work. It's just a go-to excuse for a lot of partners who don't want to admit their lack of desire.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/16 03:13 PM

None of this is about women who do. It's women who did but stopped the moment they met you.

Women are disgusted by doormats. Why would they resent that we stopped doing something they never wanted?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/16 03:15 AM

If a woman was crazed with lust and completely surrendered to you, she'd probably have your kids. If not, she'd probably have someone else's. I think this is why men starting caring so much about wild stuff instead of vanilla sex more often.

better emotional connection Why assume a stronger emotional connection is better? In this case it seems to have backfired and the man would have been better off being more like her ex.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/16 04:45 PM

This. It's probably true that some of TRP is cargo cult, but I'm going to try everything I find plausible because I only have one life to live and reconfirming what doesn't work hurts too much.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/16 06:10 AM
4

Why not just get in shape and not be a terrible misogynist? First I had to believe that women are at least as shallow as men. On top of that, I had to accept that they were full of shit when they adamantly denied it. I can't do what I need to and preserve the unrealistically high opinion of women I used to have.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/16 06:00 AM

Surely a crazy cat lady could invite men over on craigslist.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/16 05:15 AM

I didn't go looking for TRP. I had long since given up and expected to pay for it forever. Someone on Reddit quoted something from TRP that outraged them but made perfect sense to me. It was the first explanation I had ever seen for women's bizarre preferences, and the rest of it pretty much spelled out what I had done wrong in what few relationships I stumbled into. Without that I had no basis for telling good advice from bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/16 06:01 AM
3

Pretending you don't care about your partner in order for them to feel the relationship is threatened or at risk if they don't constantly meet your expectations. If a partner fails to meet my expectations badly enough the relationship really is at risk. Do I have to pretend that it isn't until I'm unhappy enough that I can't help showing it?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/16 04:23 AM
3

All of these seem to criticize self control and excuse "I couldn't help what I did". This is the kind of thing that has TRP describing women as teenagers. Is it worse to pretend I don't care about my partner as a wakeup call, than to hold it in until I actually stop caring?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/16 03:52 AM
2

Yeah, I'm not burdening a boy with my dad's genes. But there are a hell of a lot of men who don't even know they should be competing, much less how. I don't think it'll be that hard to get to average and keep a below-average woman interested.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/16 04:48 PM

I was in a dead bedroom with a chubby nerdy chick. After we broke up, I learned even she cared about looks when I saw the next guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/16 04:35 PM
6

I've had two long term relationships like that. Both fizzled out because she lost interest, and each went on to date a more masculine man than I was. Maybe I'm wrong and those sweet girls are crazed with lust for their nerds, but I wouldn't assume those relationships are going to last.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/16 04:10 PM

Can confirm, have given all my money to TRP and moved to our secret training camp on the Isle of Man where I am no longer allowed to speak to anyone outside the cult.

I grew up around Portland and Seattle in the 70s and 80s. Isn't the shallow and bitchy girl is a common trope in TV and movies? Maybe an antagonist here and there, but when the lame guy wins the girl away from the bully, she's being portrayed as not shallow.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/16 01:33 AM

It might have been common sense if women didn't deny it so adamantly, or if someone had convinced us to stop trusting what they say about themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/16 01:27 AM

We grew up believing everyone when they told us being nice was attractive. Not only did I not know how I looked compared to other boys, they had convinced me that it didn't matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/16 01:23 AM

If a guy in a relationship weren't getting laid much, would he tell you? I certainly didn't admit it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/16 08:37 PM
1

TRP is a hundred thousand men collectively saying "holy shit why didn't anyone ever tell me this!?" The hard part is accepting how shallow women actually are (as much so as men) compared to the lies everyone told about them.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/16 08:30 PM

TRP explains what natural alphas do and why women are into them. It's not the end of the world that I can't actually become one, if I can still succeed by imitating them. It's more than extroversion, I can easily imagine an extroverted adoring doormat. Where did you get the idea that most men aren't struggling? Pop culture is a parade of picky single women and frigid wives and dating sites full of desperate men (and the latter is inarguable).
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/16 07:53 PM

I'm only a grateful reader, but I imagine the contributors have things to learn from each other since there are no acclaimed authorities on sexual strategy.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/16 06:59 PM

Fair would be all seven billion of us starving in the dirt. I might care about what's fair to women if they were fair about who gets laid.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/16 02:41 AM
1

One could aspire to more than a philosophy that revolves around food, but if you neglect it your body will remind you more and more insistently. When I'm too old and poor to get laid, I doubt I'll choose to wake up the next day. My parents will have passed, and writing code won't make up for what I'd be living without forever.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/16 04:44 AM

Isn't part of the redpill all about restoring the value of good character? TRP observed that women don't reward good character. It looks weak, because before civilization it would have been. TRP is not trying to change the world.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/16 09:02 PM

"Doing X is a good thing, but women are repelled by men who do X" is not a contradiction, it's an unflattering statement about women.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/16 05:54 PM
1

No one ever told you obsessing over one person who doesn't want you is a bad idea? In movies this works all the time. The mainstream loves the idea of soulmates. It was TRP that got me to stop denying to myself that for getting laid, women are interchangeable. No one in your life ever told you that being in good shape is good for you? No one ever told you that focusing on making your own life better would make you more happy than trying to get someone else to fix it? Nobody told me those things …
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/16 05:12 PM

Women never get thirsty enough to fuck ugly men. They care more about looks than men do.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/16 04:45 PM

I'm changing to become more like the men whom women desire. This is not "self improvement", because those men are not better adapted to civilization.

Of the kids who want to sit alone hunched over a keyboard on a sunny day, how many of them do you think are girls? We can't find enough men who grew up like that. The women I've met started in college ... after the pay went up.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/16 07:47 PM

TRP spends at least as much effort on how to fit women's preferences as it does on why they're concealed and so outdated.

I pay for it and don't tell anyone. Why do you think I do that, if not for sex as an experience by itself?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/16 11:13 PM

Men choose not to have sex with prostitutes or desperate gross women. Have you ever compared craigslist m4w and w4m? There's a shortage of desperate women and they get far more offers than they can follow up on. I pay for it as often as I can, but getting it every day would cost more than I make.

I want to be super wealthy when I'm older so I can show off to society and prove them wrong. Wrong about what? All TRP says about wealth is that it doesn't inspire lust. Do you believe it actually does?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/16 05:01 PM
1

TRP doesn't tell us "don't do X because you aren't allowed", it tells us "don't do X because it doesn't work." Being obstinate about it doesn't change our results.

I think Rage Against The Machine already made that song.

If all women were different, there would be just as many attracted to shy fat doormats as to confident buff assholes. There would be no general advice that works better than "be yourself" because you'd never know what kind of woman you're going to meet next. But in real life, some ideas work and some don't because AWALT.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/16 09:07 AM

TRP is trying to understand what women desire in men, and why. How could it remain equally effective if they got squeamish and started omitting relevant ideas merely because they shouldn't be used?

surely at UC Berkeley, at least, we might be able to adopt some communist thinking Like redistribution of sex, to each according to his need? Women are usually laissez-faire about that. Or does she want secret police to shoot him in the head tonight?

happy with a sexless relationship that was emotionally intimate That's more like having a pet. It took me a long time to get over the guilt and acknowledge that I never wanted to be emotionally intimate with a woman who doesn't relate to me as a man, and there's no reason I should want that. Besides, sex changes my whole outlook for days like nothing else.

Other way around. First I had wanted sympathy, then I understood sympathy can only be had through being seen as something less than a man. Women don't want partners weak enough to need sympathy; "pathos" is the root of "pathetic" which has become pejorative. So not seeking sympathy is part of the amused mastery mask I need to put on.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/16 04:41 PM

TRP is angry about having prepared for the wrong competition. Everyone knows men are shallow and nobody was convincing women otherwise, in fact women teach each other tricks to make the most of it. Lots of men still think women are more virtuous than that and have no idea why they're failing.

Surveying people's biased opinions about their own behavior and calling it "science" is a farce. If you want to know who spends more, count what they spend. If you want to know who's more confident, well, either a fMRI can actually do that or you should stop pretending you have any data.

Slut shaming is built into every Western religion. TRP didn't start it and we aren't big enough to stop it if we wanted to. The world worked better when a productive, prosocial man could pair off with a woman in a small community and rock her world. Now that's not going to happen, and the consolation prize is sluts who have had better at some point.

You confirm a gun is unloaded by inspecting the chamber, not by pulling the trigger to see what happens (a misfire can ruin your whole day). With people this isn't an option. You have to try it (being vulnerable, supplicating, whatever) and then find out whether you damaged your relationship in a way you can recover from. Or just remember all the times it went badly when I was young, and avoid the whole problem.

I've only ever seen one or two women living on the street. Nowhere near 1/3. Sometimes a woman has to prostitute herself to get shelter This is why. Straight women have this option while straight men don't (even if they could somehow give a convincing performance, there aren't enough desperate gay men to take them up on it).

Men should fit the masculine gender role because it gets them laid, not because it pleases society (it doesn't, because betas are more easily used). Women can do whatever they want and get away with it, because that's how thirsty men are.

I do think wealth is an unattractive thing, it shows that people don't care as long as they are Ok... which is not my idea of a great society. What makes you think women decide who to fuck based on how they benefit the rest of society? One thing TRP points out is that all the pro-social bullshit they drummed into us recovering betas was never attractive.

But getting sex really isn't that hard. Let them eat cake. Look at Craigslist and sex tourism and rape. I think you're overlooking a huge underclass of men who find it damn near impossible. All you have to do is dress up nice, get a good haircut and start talking to women. Approach enough and one will say yes. If what you've been doing doesn't work, the less you change the longer you'll keep failing.

If every man were really, really, really ridiculously good-looking, then women would choose using more stringent expectations about behavior. Younger women might have trouble completing with older women who look just as hot and understand men's desires better. Bisexual men might switch to women's bodies to get more action. If this technology can alter people's desires, all bets are off. In two generations we'd probably have a world of living furries who turn asexual on the job or something.

It's not about bettering life for men It's not making a futile effort to change all of society. It's not reinforcing the harmful idea that a man ought to be selflessly useful to others. It's not a new idea. Orwell once wrote A tramp, therefore, is a celibate from the moment when he takes to the road. He is absolutely without hope of getting a wife, a mistress, or any kind of woman except—very rarely, when he can raise a few shillings—a prostitute. It is obvious what the results of this must be: homosexuality, for instance, and occasional rape cases. But deeper than these there is the degradation worked in a man who knows that he is not even considered fit for marriage. The sexu…

You said they often create your problem by exaggerating the shitty dating scene. I'm saying that couldn't be true unless I did have a partner but TRP somehow convinced me to overlook her.

I find it hard to believe that primitive cultures with no clocks all reached a consensus of eight hours, when we needed systematic study of assembly line productivity during the industrial revolution to get us to stop overworking people.

I expect idiots to get violent the moment they hear anything from "niggardly" to "niggling", but that's only because of where "nigger" is on the euphemism treadmill. In a few decades saying "people of color" will get you killed while "nigger" will sound as quaint as "hoodlum".

Being myself hasn't been attracting women. That's reality, not some delusion TRP tricked me into. I just double-checked and there's still nobody waiting for me in bed. Is she a really shy ninja or something?

If I say "the sky is blue", asking me whether blue is "really the word I want to use" would be ridiculous, because I know what it means and that meaning does apply. The only reason you want to do that with "faggot" is that you don't like it having the meaning it does. For all that people complain about manipulation and TRP, turning a moral objection into a faux question is manipulative as hell.

TRP ideas either explain women's preferences or fail at it. If they are being transmitted by martians who only understand humanity through their massive campaign of abduction and probing, that wouldn't make them wrong. They aren't making any money off me, but if they tell me how to solve my biggest problem they deserve some.

I don't share your faith; I think people now prefer culture war over tolerating dissent in the marketplace of ideas. A tech CEO was recently forced out over supporting the majority position on gay marriage. I wish you luck but I think you're running serious risks.

Force equals mass times acceleration. The equation and the body of knowledge behind it are completely amoral. It predicts what will happen whether to a bouncing ball or a crashing plane, and neither comedy nor tragedy change the numbers that come out of it. Likewise, TRP tries to predict what women will and will not respond to, regardless of what anyone thinks they should respond to or how much would be appropriate for men to actually use. the only thing that gives people a bit of self restraint…

Child support is derived from income, the actual costs for the child don't matter at all. And nothing happens to mothers who waste much of the money on themselves rather than the childrens' needs. It's under-the-table alimony.

I read r/TumblrInAction for the sheer crazy, so it's easy to believe TBP has the same motivation. TRP lives or dies by how well it predicts women's behavior; hecklers can't make us right.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/16 06:33 PM

And that's why social science shouldn't be taken seriously. Nobody is willing and able to get solid data on human behavior, so they hand out a survey and assume there's truth somewhere in the opinions. I'm the first to admit that TRP is entirely apocryphal. It's just something to try for myself, and nobody is offering me better. At least "did you fuck?" is less prone to self-deception than "would you?"

This is the same as anything else weird: if I tried it once or twice, always hated it, and wouldn't do it again even with that person, refusing with you doesn't reflect how I feel about you. But if I used to do it regularly and then decided I don't need to with you, it means I think you're lucky to have me at all and I shouldn't give you my best.

The avoidance of intimacy with women is a reflection of women's revealed preferences. If women lusted after honest, imperfect, vulnerable men, that's what most of us already were so we never would have gone looking for something like TRP.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/16 07:06 AM

I can believe duty sex around once a week is all most men know how to get. But looking at the refractory period and fertility, I don't believe men were ever content with that, whether exposed to these ideas or not.

When looking for a life partner, my advice to women is date all of them: the bad boys, the cool boys, the commitment-phobic boys, the crazy boys. But do not marry them[....] We've pretty much stopped inhibiting women's basest instincts the way we used to. TRP is a reaction to our pro-civilization training becoming a waste of time because useless thugs are more successful now.

For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much - the wheel, New York, wars and so on - whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man - for precisely the same reasons.

I can't fully appreciate food because I've never starved. Same with sex. I would choose to have been born a woman, but the female version of me wouldn't understand how bleak a man's life can be. She'd probably worry about shit that's way down my list of priorities (food, shelter, sex, other).

Participants read scenarios [...] that depicted a relationship with an opposite-sex partner who displayed one of the four attachment styles, rated their reactions to the relationship, and assessed the imaginary partner on 20 personality traits. most of them put no effort into being attractive This is the result of "just be yourself" bullshit. Not really. Lately I'm letting work devour my life. TRP convinced me lifting matters but I haven't started yet. I did manage to strike out after a few dates with a woman I had my eye on, when I would have orbited her before. There are a lot of Asian prostitutes passing through, so I see a couple every week. That and dancing are my glimpses at a worthwhile life until I push myself out of my rut. Judge TRP by men using it, not men merely aware of it.

I find great joy in helping others, even at when I do not directly benefit from it. That's what I mean by self-gratification. The world is giving you nothing; you are making yourself feel good. Which is fine for men who know not to expect more.

When women have sex and they do not, they blame the women instead of patriarchy. When there was an actual patriarchy, it demanded women choose useful husbands and fathers. Betas, in other words. What's happening now, there is no shadowy cabal organizing it, it's just the net result of women's shallowest preferences unfettered, and a slow-moving legal system that still wants to enforce family arrangements that no longer fit reality.

TRP says "women are like X". They don't say either "people are like X" or "women are like X while men are not" because how would they know? They haven't been paying attention to men the same way and they don't really care. If you want to know whether or not men are like X, TRP is the wrong group to ask.
