I think that's going too far the other way. Crying is human, it's a natural and healthy response to a number of emotions.

Sometimes that doesn't even work. There are plenty of cases where women have sued (and won) the right to join private mens golf/country clubs. It's mostly a state issue and there's a lot of variance there. In one case in Seatlle, the courts ruled in favor of the women plantiffs to be able to have access to all of the mens only parts of the club, including the "Men's Grill" becasue the pro shop was open to the public to buy shit and they held events for the local high schools, who weren't memeber…

1) You got any statistics to back that up? Otherwise it's just your opinion 2) False. Controversy brings attention. You're not even addressing the point here. 3) "Is denying one sex not going against this?" Even if that were true, did you read the part where the owner doesn't care? Your inventing and argument with this point that's not even being debated. Your rat analogy is so stupid that I won't even respond. How do you know how successful he was before? Have you looked at his books? And did y…

Women, Johnny adds, are allowed over the threshold. "They come into the shop every day – they just don’t stay. I’d say 85 per cent of our voucher sales are from women.” Could you point me to where it says "Men only door policy" where they're not allwoed through the ront door? Cuz I don't see it, only the opposite (quoted) from what you've said.

You still aren't getting it. By implying that no women are allowed but not actually saying it means women are technically allowed. You can call it a Man's Place or the Testosterone Shoppe or whatever else you want but unless you have an actual policy (ban) then it's not. Further more by beating around the bush as to not offend is weak ass and goes against the whole premise and spirit of the barber shop, which the men folk (and women) have responded to. This guy made his play and is standing ther…

I wouldn't have put it that way but you've missed the point entirely. The ban is this guys hook, weather or not it sincerely aligns with his ideology is beside the point. The ban has garnered him media attention and has struck a chord with the men in the area which I'm sure you can imagine equates to $$$$$. Not to mention he's up for an Entrepeneur of the Year award which I would argue would not have happened without the ban. Further I'd be interested in what "route" you would have taken to achi…

Fair enough, I stand corrected. I can only go by what you've posted and it sounded to me like you were describing your past three relationships. ps. you mentioned you were a 9 or 10 in your 20's but I gotta say there's nothing hotter than a woman 40+ who takes care of herself and has been through a lot of love and loving, both good and bad. They seem to have a low bullshit, don't waste my time air of confidence that I find very attractive.

Let’s give you some benefit of the doubt. Maybe you’re not “that guy.” Maybe you just use this liquid courage to get very very lightly buzzed so you don’t end up looking like an intoxicated fool. Well, I’ve got bad news for you, pal. That’s still not a good thing for you. The end result of that path is even more pathetic than the guy who gets totally smashed one time and ends up hitting on all the bartenders. A man who relies on anything external like alcohol to do something as basic as talking …

I agree with you, there are many different types of men and male personalities. I've known several men with a softer demeanor but they know how to set and keep boundaries and they are no less a man than anyone. The PUA's focus on becoming the alpha male is just not the correct path for a lot of guys IMO. Strive to be the best you can be but to say that achieving "alpha male status" is the holy grail of happiness and getting women is just not true.

A lot of guys supplicate in conversations...letting her dictate the flow of the conversation, letting her ramble about stupid or boring shit. well, fuck. lol I have a girl I'm crushing on and I do this! And I know i do it and it bugs the shit outta me! The other day I was having lunch with her and she rambled for like 15 minutes about some stupid work related shit and I sat there like a dumbass nodding my head! I've got to get better and steering the conversation and being more assertive. Any ad…

Have you tried Audible books from Amazon? That's my go to now for when I walk my dog or whatever, I get a lot more 'reading' in this way. And usually when you get the kindle version you get a huge discount on the Audible one and it'll even sync the two. It's like living in the future. :)

Whenever reading pickup material, feeling the vibe is implied. Maybe for you, but there are a ton of guys that need to be reminded of that. It's very common for guys to struggle with this at first.

How a girl feels after wiping an eye booger off her face on a first date seems really unpredictable to me. You better be feeling the vibe imo.

could you go into some of the down sides? It seems like you see ads all the time now on TV about TRT and obviously the pharmaceutical companies want to sell it so I'm sure they try to push doctors to prescribe it more. I thought it was fairly safe if used properly.

I hear ya but when i was reading your text thread (very entertaining btw) I couldn't help thinking that you were one or two texts away from a different outcome. Besides the general benefits of being more relaxed, centered and having a better sense of self, mindful meditation helps to train your mind to let go of past events and regrets you can't change and let go of future events you have no control over. It doesn't mean you don't plan for the future but it helps you to live in, and enjoy the present moment while you do it, or whatever. A lot of people start with this: Mindfulness in Plain English And then perhaps: Ekhart Tolle: The Power of Now And of …

I understand what you're saying but trying to find the antidote by being "more successful in all these areas" is just feeding your fears and not addressing them. Because I think you're right in that it will never be enough which makes you think if you were to get more then you'll finally be happy which turns out isn't enough which makes you think if you were to get more then you'll finally be happy...

Perhaps read up on introversion, I think you may find some truth about yourself in there. I used to do what you do and when I discovered why I felt much better and actually stopped doing those behaviors as much.

One thing that has helped me get over those slumps is the phrase 'happiness is a choice'. sometimes it seems we're waiting to feel better when our situation improves or we read another self help book or we get the girl etc. but there are times when happiness is something you have to actually work on like a muscle. It's about reframing, attitude and state of mind etc.

If the convo is in that state then try threading with an open ended question. Using the Paris example: You: “What is it about Paris that you especially love?” Or if you just comment and she gives a short answer then follow up with a related question. You: “Yeah as soon as you arrive in the city you can feel the romantic energy” Her: "Yeah" You: “What is it about Paris that you especially love?” Her: It's the atmosphere mostly, but also the architecture, and the food! omg...blabbidy blah blah

Your experience is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which basically says that your thoughts cause your beliefs which manifest as emotions that then lead you to act a certain way in the world. What they teach to undo that is to reverse engineer in a way.. You look real closely at your thoughts and beliefs about yourself and you challenge them, refute them, see them for the bullshit that they are. Some may be about your family, some about how you interact with women, some about your self ima…

Yes, but the point here is that by recognizing and then pushing through the anxiety you eliminate it. Butterflies and energy can be helpful and natural to get pumped up but letting anxiety affect what you do or don't do is not the best choice.
