Why would you “have to”? What does it matter?

“Someone stable who treats her well” is the definition of a “great catch”, dude. People want kind and reliable partners. The only people who care more about looks and money than stability and kindness are shallow people you don’t want to be with anyway. If someone likes you because you’re stable and kind, you are doing it right.

Maybe any particular “she” is “settling.” So what? Find someone who likes you for you. The world is full of women. Like men, some of them are shallow and some aren’t. The best way to deconstruct this thinking is to just remind yourself that women are not a monolith. They are individual people and attempting to generalize their behavior in this way is not rational. Some women want commitment, some don’t. Some prioritize a guy’s sense of humor, some prioritize if a guy wants to go kayaking, some p…

I know this is a hypothetical question, but if it helps: 2 in 5 women will have a hysterectomy in their lifetimes anyway and cervical/uterine cancer is super treatable. You don’t even need to get your ovaries removed a lot of the time. They’ll just take the rotten bits out. Source: me, someone who has to get a hysterectomy pretty young.

I did not miss that part. Red pill content influenced you, someone who was more susceptible than others, and that sucks. That stuff targets vulnerable men. That’s not an excuse for continuing to hate women when you know it’s wrong. You gotta do some work on yourself when you recognize bad thought patterns.

Absolutely not a valid excuse. There are plenty of men with chemical imbalances, mental health struggles, and porn addiction who do not hate women. I’d hazard to guess the majority of men with these issues do not hate women. It’s like saying “the reason I’m racist is because I have anxiety.” No, that guy’s just an anxious racist.

Some women care about a lot about height. They are shallow. Some men care a lot about perfect toned bodies on women. They are shallow. Most people in the real world pick partners based on a number of factors including kindness, sense of humor, shared interests, mutual attraction, and similar life goals. How do you think so many short men got made? Their short dads found partners and made babies.

maybe [your philosophy] would be just as popular as red pill Most folks are not red pilled. The “just be nice philosophy” is more popular than red pill. It probably wouldn’t cross a lot of people’s minds to even call it a philosophy because it’s just the normal way of moving through life. Ordinary-looking people with ordinary jobs and ordinary lives get into relationships every day. There is no hack or secret strategy to finding a relationship. Individual people either want to date you, or they …

She communicated she wanted more from you in some way, whether that was emotional intimacy or just hanging out or whatever it was. Maybe she wanted to spend more time connecting with you first. I’m not her, I can’t say, but it seems like she felt like you just wanted her for sex. And it’s fine to just want someone for sex, that’s what hookups are for! Sounds like you wanted different things from the relationship and weren’t a match.

You said “do I just have to pretend that I don’t want sex?” and asked what to do in that situation. I didn’t imply you’d pressure anyone and I read that you said you wouldn’t. I was answering your question, which was a little confusing because I was trying to imagine what it would look like to have to “pretend you don’t want sex.” Why would you pretend? And further, why would it bother you if someone didn’t want sex on some random day because they had the flu or whatever? It sounds really entitl…

What you’re supposed to do when you’re in a relationship and you want to have sex and she doesn’t is to not pressure her to have sex with you. You dont have to pretend you don’t want it, but you can’t be whiny or a jerk about it. Everyone doesn’t want sex some amount of the time. If she rejects sex here and there because of stress, work, illness, etc., you just let it go. If it happens over and over, your sex drives are incompatible and you aren’t a match.

I think that the concept of “status” as it’s used in redpill thinking is largely false. Sure, there may be some people attracted to status, but that’s kind of an unusual thing to care about for short-term hookups. I haven’t ever known any woman who was attracted to or hooked up with a guy because of the kind of car he has, that just sounds silly. I think most women looking for hookups are attracted to looks and not being an asshole/unsafe. And most men are attracted to looks and not being a mean…

Have your nephew ask GPT if men value kindness, chemistry, or safety when they’re looking to hook up. This kind of redpill thinking falls apart when you realize that people - not just women - can be shallow and materialistic. Not all people are, and plenty aren’t. But folks just looking for a hookup? That’s a good place to find materialism because hookups aren’t spending a ton of time getting to know one another and appreciating each others’ personalities. Both men and women looking to hook up w…

Your issue is that you think it’s just women. Internalize this: some people are only as loyal as their options. Gender is irrelevant here - for every woman who might leave a man for a richer man, there’s a man who’d leave a woman for or cheat on her with a younger, prettier woman. It’s been a media trope for ages - the married man and his secretary. “Men will only go for young beautiful women with perfect figures” is just as accurate as “women will always go for rich men” - in that neither are a…
