| -1 | Can we talk about "slut-shaming" for a minute? No, that's not what I said at all. In fact it is no where close to what I said. I'm saying by your logic, all sex is irresponsible if condoms and birth control do not make it responsible. A monogamous person can get pregnant with protected sex (and have it be unwanted). He/she can also get STDs if their partner is unfaithful. How is that person irresponsible? Where are you getting the idea that protected sex with 10 people is as risky as unprotected sex ever?! Unprotected sex is very irresponsib… | /r/MensRights | 05/06/12 09:44 PM |
| -1 | Can we talk about "slut-shaming" for a minute? So no person should have sex ever? All sex carries that risk. Using condoms and birth control is responsible. Unprotected sex is not. Don't put words into my mouth to fit your agenda. | /r/MensRights | 05/06/12 09:08 PM |
| -1 | Can we talk about "slut-shaming" for a minute?Where did I say you couldn't? | /r/MensRights | 05/06/12 06:42 PM |
I recently posted a comment debunking the idea of male privilege in r/philosophy including actual studies and was down voted to oblivion, without any counterargument. Not one empirical proof of privilege is provided in the entire thread. Am I out of line?Citations? By the way, I'm not being a smart ass, I'm genuinely curious. | /r/MensRights | 05/06/12 12:04 AM
Can we talk about "slut-shaming" for a minute?I misunderstood your comment. I still don't think she should be shamed. Your statement basically makes it sound like a slutty girl should be held back by society because she is promiscuous. | /r/MensRights | 04/06/12 10:23 PM
Yes, we are very much discouraging them from showing themselves with tons of karma. /sI'm not sure I understand the context. I think you were downvoted because your comment makes it sound like that's the only place women should post pictures on Reddit. I'm sure that isn't what you meant though. | /r/MensRights | 04/06/12 10:19 PM
Can we talk about "slut-shaming" for a minute?A promiscuous woman can be responsible. Also, birth control is not only used by "sluts". | /r/MensRights | 04/06/12 10:10 PM
Can we talk about "slut-shaming" for a minute?Really? I tend to see it the other way around. Men are judged harshly for not being sexually promiscuous while women are judged if they are sexually promiscuous | /r/MensRights | 04/06/12 10:09 PM
I recently posted a comment debunking the idea of male privilege in r/philosophy including actual studies and was down voted to oblivion, without any counterargument. Not one empirical proof of privilege is provided in the entire thread. Am I out of line?...No. He wasn't saying that at all. | /r/MensRights | 04/06/12 10:03 PM
I recently posted a comment debunking the idea of male privilege in r/philosophy including actual studies and was down voted to oblivion, without any counterargument. Not one empirical proof of privilege is provided in the entire thread. Am I out of line? That is true, although I'd say a woman walking alone at night is more likely to be targeted for any sort of attack involving overpowering. | /r/MensRights | 04/06/12 10:03 PM
Sometimes we need to remember that oppressive gender roles hurt everybody. (x-post from 2x)This is true! I frequent both. | /r/MensRights | 31/05/12 03:39 AM
Sometimes we need to remember that oppressive gender roles hurt everybody. (x-post from 2x)I believe this was made for children, so they may have left out the violence and pervert thing due to that. | /r/MensRights | 31/05/12 03:38 AM
I am about to go to jail for a very long time. Does anyone have any advice for me?I find this incredibly hard to believe. How is they a lot of evidence to prove it non-consensual is it is in fact consensual? | /r/MensRights | 11/05/12 12:09 AM
As a woman, I'd like to thank you allI agree. OP is negatively impacting men's rights by oppressing women while stating her stance. This is just setting both groups against each other when they should be working together. | /r/MensRights | 11/05/12 12:06 AM
[x-post from r/wtf] Rape prevention tips finds its way to man's houseI think the problem is that they are telling women not to do things. So instead of saying, "don't go to drunken frat parties", saying "if you go to drunken frat parties, bring friends so you are not alone" is much more constructive and won't have the radical backlash. | /r/MensRights | 11/05/12 12:00 AM
Why are there not more feminists here?I think they're a lot more progressive that SRS and similar places. | /r/MensRights | 06/05/12 12:10 AM

A lot of trolls tonight ...You're taking offense to my comments that are meaning well, I truly don't understand why. I am not the one downvoting you. I'm not associated with SRS at all. I'm offended to even be associated with them because they are misogynists and misanthropists. I'm defending TwoX because they tend to be a safe haven for women. Yes, sexist stuff can get upvoted by women who have had a tough time with men. However, the same is true of /r/MensRights. I, unlike many people, do not hold the opinion that that … | /r/MensRights | 13/04/12 04:02 AM
A lot of trolls tonight ...I don't think it's true that most of the women hate men. They do tend to look over how crude some Jezebel articles can be toward men, however I don't think that's representative of the whole community. It might seem more prevalent to see posts complaining about particular men, but I don't see the rash generalizations there that SRS tends to make. I'm sorry about your bad experience, you shouldn't have been banned unless you were being rude when stating how you felt. | /r/MensRights | 12/04/12 02:39 PM
A lot of trolls tonight ...No. But twoXchromosomes is nothing like SRS and I think we'd all appreciate not being lumped in the same category. You're blaming a few extremists for the actions of an entire community. | /r/MensRights | 12/04/12 12:32 PM
A lot of trolls tonight ......have you ever actually been on /r/TwoXChromosomes ?!? | /r/MensRights | 12/04/12 03:27 AM
