I think the hardest part isn't finding meaning, it's getting off your ass to find the meaning. When you're in a rut such as this it takes a lot to break it. I agree with getting out of comfort zones and meeting new people and running through hobbies that interest you until one sticks, but when you're in a rut it's brutal.
