In my experience, such people don’t want equality, they’re looking for special treatment and privilege

Yeah not even explaining, some people will distort anything a guy utters to fit their oppressor-victim view of the world.

In many ways yes, although living under US sanctions can degrade the experience by quite a lot I love having free education, subsidised housing, a stipend and paying like $100 a year for my healthcare.

They’re pretty much downgrading someone’s right to life as privilege at point

As a physics master’s, I enjoyed learning about this term.

Oh, I deleted the message and wouldn’t want to post the exact texts on Reddit. Essentially she posted a picture of a conservation law in physics which has all sorts of exceptions and asked in her post “could someone tell me wtf is this law”, and I did not go into explaining it, I mentioned something like “these show up wherever there are symmetries there are even approximately true laws, such a mess.” (I probably couldn’t just explain it well off the top of my head). And she posted this to her s…

Yikes, is it that bad? Where are you from? I’m not white and I’ve never had even remotely similar thoughts towards any white person. Well to be fair almost everyone is white in the country I live in so this sort of thinking would make me mad at literally everyone.

Yeah, you're right, I guess I wanted to defend what I said because she reposted a screenshot of my message (without my name or picture) publicly, and maybe sent it around privately too, possibly to mutual friends. But ya know, I guess anyone I'd wanna be friends with wouldn't take her seriously.

Sounds fun :D, but I ended up just deleting the message and moving on. She seems like someone who would take any extra material I give her and use it to claim harassment.

I saw a pretty similar thing the other day when a guy in a food court just lightly tapped a woman to ask her where she got something, and just said thank you and left. I can understand that some people don't like to be touched but still that's so over the top. Also a girl in a class I took accused the teacher for sexual harassment because he tapped her on the back to say well done.

You know, if it weren't for you, I wouldn't have figured this stuff in a million years. Thanks 👍!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
