Like instead of asking "where are you from" say "you have an eastern european accent" or wtvr or whatever you think. It doesn't feel interrogative, its crazy if you get it right and if you get it wrong it'll get her curious why you thought that and she'll correct you anyway.

In my experience in India (Bangalore), it works out only if you look really really good and have decent social awareness. I don't actively go out for approaches but if I find someone I'm interested in, I don't resist it.

You go there, let her know your intentions without any pressure on her. You don't care what she says, you're ready to walk away, its her choice. She should feel like she might miss out if you she walks away. You don't need to care shit if you are perceived as desperate to her or give her the "ick". Being direct with your actions with your actions and confusing her with your words is the way to go. Don't get too attached to one girl.

Just be confident and show intent that you wanna make it nice for her and ask her to lead you. If you're inexperienced, you're likely gonna make a fool of yourself (learned that the hard way). try figuring your fears out then realize why they exist and why you shouldn't pay mind to them. Then go out, approach without a second though, be respectful and learn that this person won't remember it and it won't even matter in the larger scheme of things. Don't fear rejection, its a part of the process, you are bound to get rejected even if its not your fault.

I would like to add for the porn addiction point, self-binding is key, deleting the apps, staying outside, getting friends, away from the phone, finding fulfillment. Then other therapies like cold shower and exercise. None of this will work unless you have a deep urge to quit it, learning the downsides is key.
