honestly, i think OPs shoes might just be ugly. A common phrase in MFA is that if you're getting plenty of comments all of a sudden on one item, then it's probably not a good thing. If you keep getting the comment "nice shoes", instead of "wow, i like your look" or something similar, you're probably getting the wrong kind of attention

There are so many other ways to keep in shape. Sure, but lifting provides it's one very useful benefits. There's no harm in being stronger than average. An extra 3 hours a week is all you need to build a great strength base
