1	not having partner slows or distract your journey towards having successful career? Depends on your goals and desires. Clearly you want a dating/sex life, so you have to balance that with your career pursuits. If you're putting 100% into a successful career then you're sacrificing other things in life. And putting in 100% towards your career doesn't mean you'll be any less successful than if you were to balance a social and personal life with your career.
