Not rude at all, and thanks for your reply. It’s a fair point but I’ve found that you can’t change other people’s minds, no matter how many facts you come with. This woman, I’m speculating, wanted to be with this guy so much that she was willing to believe anything to excuse his behavior. I can’t undo that no matter how many studies, stats, etc I bring to the table.

In similar fashion, I replied to a post in another sub wherein the girl was asking advice because her bf had gone to the strip club but didn’t tell her. She said she doesn’t care if he goes but she didn’t like that he lied about going. I posted in a ufc sub about fight sports being just for men. It made me so angry, like why would I choose what entertainment I like based on whether men find that attractive? If a guy isn’t into me because I like ufc then he’s way too much of a little limp dick anyway.

In science sex and gender are different. You don’t use gender when speaking/writing/researching animals. That is both in and out of academia and is very much scientific and is not debated. Not in biology and it’s sub-disciplines anyway.
