I can't tell if it's intentional that the sexist line of thinking that this kind of post usually reeks of is called out by swapping out the woman for a commodified object

Stop treating beautiful women like they're a prize to be won. They're human beings, with varied insecurities and opinions and kinks and tastes just like anyone else. Soon as you recognize that you'll be able to win one over, because unlike the other guys you're not obsessing over her physical appearance like it's her only fucking feature. And no I'm not interested in buying your book or paying for one of your workshops you huckster.

2005 called, they don't actually want their pick-up line back though, they said it was shitty then and it's still shitty now.

In practice it's truly no different than a text, but the number is a commitment and a significant mental step forward for most women. Until she gives it you're just one of the 5000 strangers she matched with whom she can conveniently stand up or block at any time. Many womens' phones are a deluge of notifications from dozens of people and they'll only pay a certain amount of attention to certain apps or names.

I get how that that's the convention but it's fucking stupid. Women on tinder are a dime a dozen and I need a way to filter strangers from the internet that isn't just some words on a screen. If you can't be bothered to talk on the phone with me then I'm not interested in taking my valuable time out to go buy you a drink.

5 is playing with fire and all that 'negging' bullshit has been rightly written off as patriarchal and abusive. The purpose of making fun of her is to build a rapport and get comfortable with each other, not to assert your superiority over her. Those things are important in bed. If she isn't laughing it off and/or dishing it back in return then you're just being a dick. Don't do #5 at all if you don't know exactly what you're doing and how to do it appropriately

Just keep it up man. All that self-improvement stuff is about yourself and what makes you happy. And as long as you maintain your own happiness, and reject the notion that it comes from a relationship, eventually it'll attract some lucky girl. You ever wonder why you'll sometimes meet a nice girl who's a 10/10 in hotness but has been single for months and years? The dating pool sucks and you're gonna be incompatible with the overwhelming majority of women you meet. A sane person doesn't enter in…

Fuck this. I'm not afraid of strangers but I'm also not nearly as attracted to them. Personality and familiarity and friends in common matter a lot. I'm not concerned with the power dynamics because I'm secure enough not to be unsettled by competition from other men (who are apparently above this rule and free to date their colleagues). There's no blind luck involved here because I've had plenty of time to gauge whether she's interested in me. Now give me some better advice than "don't do it" be…

You'll never know because you didn't try, you would have gone back to your place together and played it by ear from there, maybe she would have gone straight to the other bedroom maybe she would have stayed up a bit with you and therefore gave you another chance to escalate. I always disregard "boyfriends", they do not exist until I actually meet them. And especially in your case - if she has a bf then wtf is she doing in a club without him trying to meet random men, asking them out and acceptin…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
