Oh heaven forbid I spend longer than 5 seconds writing a debate comment on r/PurplePillDebate! Oh golly gosh how will I ever recover from your horrendous assault on my sacred opinions! I guess you're right, and my comment was trash. Don't worry sir, I'll be sure to never write a long trashy comment again. I'm so ashamed.

Yeah lol, you are. You can't seriously believe women aren't disrespected for exhibiting feminine traits. Like how in our healthcare system, women are taken far less seriously than men when it comes to reporting their pain and complaints because of being seen as hysterical and overly emotional. Even today the myth that childbirth is "painless" and you only feel "pressure" is widespread because of, frankly, people not believing women when they say the process is painful. Is that society "respectin…

Fair enough. Idk what else to say, that’s a fair perspective. Thanks for your time.

Partially because it’s a necessity for me to survive, given that my house is nowhere near the closest grocery or my place of work. I couldn’t say the same about a relationship. It’s true that we could extend the analogy to question whether I really need to work at that location, or whether I could become self sufficient with my food supply. But that seems like I’m putting extreme effort into changing my life to avoid the risk, whereas a relationship where I believed the man was such a danger to …

Yes. I hate driving it, though, and will always walk or take public transport if it’s a feasible option. It’s not a risk I take lightly, and if I had my way I wouldn’t drive one at all.

Ok, I get what you're saying and I agree the way women are raised is emotionally suffocating, but I'm specifically asking what exactly you are talking about within my comments. Are you suggesting my hypothetical "if i were a woman" risk calculation is off because most women's fears of men are suppressed? Are you suggesting the women in my life are being subconsciously dishonest with me? I'm not trying to put words in your mouth, I just don't know what part you're replying to. I'd really like to …

I'm unclear as to what exactly this is referring to? The best guess I have is that you mean women get into relationships with men because they are socialized to ignore their fear of men, and therefore the vast majority of relationships are kind of the result of coercion.

I was just using the bear thing as an example, since the hypothetical is pretty clearly about the man and not the animal. It could have been replaced with a tiger and not made a substantial difference to most people, even if the risk calculation is suddenly thrown wildly off by that. I'm just trying to contextualize how I would feel and act if I were in your position more than anything, and trying to see the "gender calculus" from the other side so to speak. I 100% believe the man is a good guy,…

Well yeah, but at some point they are. And the statistics do show intimate partners are the most likely to murder women. I'm just saying, if I believed men were my natural predator, that a random man was more dangerous than a bear, and I did not think I had feasible recourse or that the risk was greater than the reward, I would either self isolate or join a female segregated community. What's more, I don't know how I could justify being with someone that, if I had the choice, I would not have be…

Maybe I framed it in a condescending way and didn’t notice. I apologize. I’m well aware you can’t just change your orientation, which is why I mentioned ideologies that instead frame it as a necessary sacrifice rather than a free choice anyone can make. I just think that if it were me, and I legitimately believed that a random bear is a safe bet to take over a random man (just to steal the big dividing popular question) I would probably become a cloistered nun or join a female separatist communi…

I guess the stupid question is why? Political lesbianism, feminist separatism, these ideas are rather fringe but I'd be under the impression they'd be more mainstream in the modern era considering the 'bad blood' between the sexes, so to speak, and especially considering the statistical danger to women. Do you really "have to" date men? I apologize if the answer is just as simple as sexual/social needs but I'm curious as to what you have to say.

You asked “why would i lie” and I answered. Me personally, my first thoughts would be directed more towards the complete collapse of all modern reproductive and genetic theory, and less towards the reaction of the dating scene. In this hypothetical scenario, ignoring the research projects and existing technology that has been thrown into anarchy, I actually don’t think much would fundamentally change about the dating market. People who dislike women for having kids with prior partners would get …

“Why would I just make shit up to push my personal viewpoint which further lends credence to certain beliefs, such as a bias against women with prior partners? Do you think I’d lie just to further my personal agenda?”

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
