Life is all about priorities You’re not going to make everyone happy all of the time, usually least of all your partner. What’s your priority: your health or his comfort?

Your medical care is so much more important than his insane fragile insecurity.

I think he’s usually pretty good at hearing me out. I apologize for nagging and he says “I’d like to think you’re just helping me be the best man I can be”, but sometimes lacks implementing them afterwards. I also think he has ADHD genuinely. He’s so scatter brained

The question feels ridiculous. Love and respect go hand in hand. I care more about love, but if I’m being disrespected, I’m not being loved.

I’m extremely reflective and introspective and try and think of accountability in literally every thing I bring up to my boyfriend. He often tells me he admires this about me and it diffuses so many situations because I almost ALWAYS lead with my faults FIRST, however, some things are just about the other person. Time blindness for example. I’ve also changed the way I communicate about these things saying “I’d like to leave by x, does that seem like something we can do? If not is there something…

Again, you’re making wild and bold assumptions about my relationship. We’re very happy and rarely argue. I legit asked one question based off of BOOKS I’m reading, not my relationship.

Why are you so heated like actually please go take a walk and some deep breaths. Nobody is saying he is the sole problem, or that my relationship is miserable. I just asked one question. Jesus

I know, which then turns around and makes me hyper vigilant which is not putting me in my feminine. And the rhetoric is commonly “then break up and find a man you can trust” but it’s not like there’s magically a perfect persob

I hear you, but I feel like most of the messaging is how women need to change their behavior for the end result, not men. In the example of a party, are men ever thinking “I should get us there on time so I have a fun and flirty wife, not a cranky one”?

Ask yourself, do you really want to attract someone who LIKES that you have daddy issues? Wouldn’t you rather be with someone who supports you and wants you to heal, rather than be in pain and suffering? Yes you can heal, but it takes hard intentional work. And it’s always worth it.
