/u/MattyAnon and /u/Don_Draper27 and /u/RP_utiliser Thanks for the points guy, just wanted to let you know that I setup a date with a girl (we literally talked for just 1 day) and brought her back to my place. I was touching her quite frequently throughout the date. I think I wasn't really attracted to her (emotionally), so it was quite easy. When we came back to my place, we were just cuddling and shit and I tried to finger her once or twice which she rejected, so I kinda just backed off an…

Thanks for your very detailed answer man. I will remember your points for the next date that I have in 2 days.

Okay, how would reach to the point of "hand holding" if you were say sitting in park or at a table in a bar? What do you exactly do to reach that point?

How do you usually escalate on a date. Do you have any examples to share?

Thanks for the words man, these issues just stem from some mental problems that I've been struggling with for quite a long time now. It really affects all aspects of my life atm and the virus didn't make it easy for me. I have another date tom and I've been really vibing with this girl (compared to the ones that I met before) and I'm going to try to escalate physically with her. Do you have any tips on that? Normally, it's instinctive for me but when it comes to performance, I guess I just fail …

No, it def the physical aspect, I'm really good at holding conversations with people. I guess this just stems for some mental problems that I've been dealing with for quite a looong time (10+ years)

That was something the girl suggested, guess it was a bad idea. First and last time I go for dinner!

No, the other guy is correct. I'm mentally not normal. I've been fighting some issues for 10+ years now and it affects all parts of my life (social, work, love etc). I'm really trying hard to make changes recently tho!

Okay thanks for the points man. I think in general I give them "friendly" vibe so maybe that's what ruins it for me. I guess I just have to be more physical!

Most of them insist on paying or splitting tbh I just got an answer from one of them and she said that she felt the vibe was "friendly" and I guess it's not gonna lead to anything! So I guess I can be sure it's because of no psychical escalation. (we were at a restaurant for that date, so it was a bit hard with covid restrictions and all)

Also, yesterday I went out with someone who seemed really interested, also asking me questions about my romantic life and such. But now she's ignoring my texts. And this lady was in her 30s (single mother at that)

Okay wow, on average 1 date lasts atleast 2 hours for me. Shortest one was 1 hour long, where the girl catfished me and ended the date abruptly, even tho we were talking a lot.

I do make them laugh, i'm a funny person. I mean I can't be cracking jokes all the time, but the conversations dont really have any "awkward silences" at all!

So, there aren't any awkward silences at all. I think one thing I fail to do is be very physical. It's a bit hard to force that for me. Usually the conversations go well. At the end of the date either they wish me good luck for the future or I say that we keep in touch but they dont answer to my messages later one!

This sounds a little too formal because the roomie was a friend (short period) before we moved in together, but I'm just gonna tell him that I'm thinking of moving out because I dont want to live with his gf

Yeah I guess I'm being taken advantage off for being too polite

How do I go about this? Am I being a "bitch" about this situation tho? even before the disrespect incident

Thing is, this will certainly ruin some friendships for sure since people will probably take sides after this. Not like I'm gonna miss the other side, but still how do I bring it up without being very rude?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
