Thank-you for sharing; your experience, perspective and thoughts. I’m really sorry about what happened to you. It sounds like you have done a lot of great internal work and grown tremendously.

So your rebuttal is a bunch of isolated awful stories that you read of particular women suffering? Your second argument is “Umm women still get sexually harassed so that totally proves that women suffer at the hands of men.” I never said that women didn’t suffer in the world in numerous ways. I have previously heard of this thing called “being alive”. Do you really need me to send you a bunch of anecdotal stories and situations of men suffering at the hands of women? Is that how basic you want t…

Also, in what ways is white feminism an “ally” to anyone who isn’t a white woman? Going back to the first suffragette movement, the leaders were ADAMANT about not including black women so as to “Not distract from the MAIN purpose of the movement”. The majority of white feminism doesn’t give a flying fuck about true equality for others. No no. It’s about power! They have seen white men get certain advantages in the current system and they just want to renegotiate their cut; to have more seats for…

I agree with every word in your first paragraph. There still exist places in the world where women are seen as things and property. Feminism is desperately needed in all of these places! Now, everything you said after that is where I’m calling bullshit. I don’t know which country you are from. (My guess is Belgium - Leopold II?) But if you think that even poor whites didn’t enjoy and promote the system of white supremacy then you’re smoking something stronger than waffles. Do you really not beli…

Bruh what?! When dudes are raped they were raped and ARE the victims. So using your analogy; when white women were enslaving and oppressing other groups how were they (the white women) also the victims??? When were they the victims? During the whippings? During the slave auctions? Or maybe it was when they were packing their picnic lunches to go watch that day’s scheduled lynching? Oh so victimized. To many people, white women ARE their oppressors! A history fact that (clearly) is often frequent…

See there’s the problem right there; white women trying to sneak their “oppression” in with the ACTUAL minority groups who were oppressed! Please don’t compare the plight of black women in America with white women in ANY way. White women don’t belong anywhere near being in the same sentence! And yes, as a person who IS part of an historical marginalized minority community, until the oppression is adequately addressed and resolved this IS the “Oppression Olympics”. I’ve only ever heard white wome…

Tell that to all the white women who pretend that they are STILL opposed! They weren’t alive during the “Can’t have a bank account” time period but oh boy does every other 28 year old white women get on this sub everyday telling people about all the oppression that other women went through 100 years ago. Also the wealth and privilege from your ancestors directly impacts you TODAY! you still live and benefit from a system that was crafted from oppression.

Isn’t fair to whom? The white women or the multiple non-white groups that white women participated in persecuting? The awful shit happened. Accept it.

White women are not a minority group and have done farrr more than their fair share of partaking in the absolute brutal oppression of every single non-white group in America. White women in America have been the 2nd most privileged group in human history! Even white men from previous generations were drafted (and died) in every single war; always comprised the most of the homeless population; and have always done all of society’s most dangerous and worse jobs. Throughout history in America, ther…

That’s the thing; white women are not an historically oppressed minority group in America/West. They have enjoyed all of the spoils of conquest, imperialism, slavery, native genocide, etc. To watch white women in the present act like “their people” were also chained and whipped on plantations is a sight to behold.

You want to be part of a class that gets rights that others not part of that class do not receive. You want to protect this system because you benefit from it, at the expense of others. You only talk of “fairness and equality” of child raising only after (AFTER) the special class person (woman) got to be the sole decision maker for something that will impact many. You don’t care about fairness. You don’t care about equality. The tagline under your username is a lie.

Nobody is expecting or wants women to have forced abortions - hence why PAPER abortions is the topic that started this entire conversation and your initial reply to OP. Try to stay on topic. Pro-choice women ironically use all the identical language as the anti-abortion-religious folks when the conversation steers to men’s rights. Capitalism in nature meaning that one party gets all the choices, yet socialism in outcome meaning that the responsibility is shared amongst the masses. I thought that…

Again, just like with countless other medical procedures, humans now have the medical technology so that these destructive “unfair” paths that you keep describing are presently completely avoidable. The woman doesn’t have to have the baby. She doesn’t. She can choice not to have the baby. That choice (to have the baby) is currently hers and hers alone. If she decides to make that choice without the active consent of a willing father then she made a decision that she decided was best for her. Unf…

So does the woman. You’d both have the same exact financial consequences. Yes but ONLY she gets a choice. Only her. If she’s the ONLY party who gets the CHOICE then why is the outcome of her choice the responsibility of both parties (meaning that the one party (man) who had zero choice but shares the responsibility - that math doesn’t work)? Then you’d need something to replace the provision of the father who bails, because that’s how you make it fair to the child. You ought to support a robust …

How does the man not have any skin in the game if 1 of the outcomes results in a full sentient being coming into the world that he is legally required to financial provide for, for 2 decades? That sounds like a whole lotta skin in the game. Again the outcomes are not remotely the same. The man has a LOT of skin in the game in 1 of these outcomes. The woman is not the only one affected by that outcome. If the choice should be hers and hers alone then why be against the financial responsibility be…

Your argument is based around the idea that the “surgery” is only happening in her body so the choice should be hers and hers alone, but that logic only works if the outcomes of the 2 surgeries had identical (or equal) outcomes - which they don’t. Okay the baby now exists; but only one side had a choice in that matter. That choice can lead to an innocent life now having an awful-resentful parent/then terrible childhood/then terrible life.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 02:29 AM

Bad analogy. The 2 surgeries are not the same. One of the surgeries results in a brand new human being coming and living for potentially a century in this world.

“So abstain, get a tubal ligation, use contraception, or do not have piv sex. Lots of choices.” This IS the exact same language pro-lifers use against those women seeking an abortion! Nice try though with the willful ignorance routine.

I tried to represent bisexual & lesbian women when I said “for the most part”. I should’ve specified that my comment was pertaining exclusively to women that are not sexually attracted to other women.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/21 12:47 PM

I think this is because women (for the most part) aren’t sexually attracted to the women that they find beautiful. Women seem to admire their version of beautiful women as one might admire an aesthetically pleasing painting or a remarkable sunset. Men, on the other hand are “drawn” to the women that we find attractive. We are attracted to these beautiful women on a level that straight women just can’t relate to.

You say that as if men intentionally withhold emotions in their relationships. As the previous poster stated; the “suck it up, be a man” is conditioned into us from birth. Some dude can’t just simply “knock it off”.

I know you thought your last message was really clever. I can tell you really did. I promise you though it was not. I am also willing to bet that you are not nearly as tough in-person as you are over the internet. Seriously, why is that such a crazy idea? Air travel is relatively inexpensive in the year 2020. I have spent way stupider dollars in my youth on dumber things than this. I am always willing to meet up with a fake-tough-guy-keyboard racist in-person. You believe me to be a pussy and I disagree. Let’s discuss. Like gentlemen, of course.

Tell you what; I’ve recently been furloughed from work so I have a few months off. I’m gladly willing to move this exchange to DMs where we can exchange contact information. This. This why men will never collectively make any organized changes. When will white dudes learn that using words like “cuck” and speaking nationalistic ideas is the exact reason why millions of men of various races will never become supportive allies.

I never once focused on casual sex, you did. And yes, the overwhelming majority of men are very, very interested in sex - individuals are able to manage it differently. Being sex obsessed does not equal bad character - just because you don’t personally identify with the feeling, nor do you clearly understand that a feeling can manifest itself differently in different people. Last but not least; you do understand that people possess the ability to really enjoy something without overindulging in i…

That’s quite the arrogant statement for a non-god. Your belief that human “types” are easily transferable regardless of gender is subjective, thus flawed. Hormones are a tricky thing. I hope in another life you aren’t born a man with the memories of your past life absolutism views.

It’s true, men like and think about sex. A lot. For the most part, we are sexually curious about every single woman that we find attractive. Here’s where I think you get it wrong though 1) The majority of this “sexual curiosity” is just in passing. That hot lady that some man saw on the bus yesterday doesn’t make him want to go home and leave and divorce his wife. 2) Men don’t choose to be this way. In fact, it’s a curse. Yes, a fucking curse. Wow. Those conclusions you were able to jump to were astounding. Do you seriously believe that the majority of the frustrated, involuntarily celibate men out there are disgruntled - not because they haven’t had sex since the first Obama administration, but because of an entitled, inability to have a vast “harem of pussy”? I PROMISE you those sexless males on Reddit yelling obscenities at feminists would be Gene Kelly dancing and singing in the fucking rain if they could bed just one woman. That’…

In a discussion regarding empathy: You: “The group that I’m not a member of, and never will be, has voiced frustrations regarding certain ‘things’ in their lives that I consider ‘shallow and superficial’. Even though I’m not a part of this group, and will never have any idea what their life experience feels like, I have determined what I believe will and won’t be beneficial to this group in the long term. The end.” You sound like a very caring and considerate person.
