I happen to land at this sub from somewhere. I've worked with NGOs as a Teen, I am a supporter of equality and I've worked for it too. They actually beat people, slapping or beating with sticks are common, even deaths in lockups are a common occurrence and these cases either take too much time to finally convict those involved or nothing ever happens.
