My ex wife also started some of her cheating through online nonsexual, then sexual, roleplay. She lied when confronted, not knowing I was aware of the full truth. It sucks but time heals better than anything else. Tall to your close family members about it and they will listen and that helps to offload some of it.

Postpartum depression is one of my ex wifes "blames" for why she cheated on me. Three times. Including three years before she was pregnant...

Sorry about that, I was not aware. My post history I assume wouldn't serve as evidence...?

Virginia is an at fault state for adultery if you can prove it, meaning she will get no alimony and be likely penalized for fucking your accounts over. My ex got no alimony, retirement, few assets and like 25% of my wealth.

We didn't' even use a mediator. Decided the division of assets and child custody between the two of us and had a lawyer write it up and got it notarized. Turned out great for my benefit as she wasn't really fighting for much, due to the guilt of being a cheating whore.

I haven't been to a large public men's bathroom that didn't have a changing table for a good while. Then again I tend to go to family places like the library, city buildings, parks, etc. I'd be very curious to see statistics on the number or percentages of bathrooms that have a changing table in the female restroom but not in the male restroom. I would venture that it would offer an interesting comparison if contrasted with the percentage of childcare time mothers provide to children versus fath…

I appreciate that and your story. I'm far from a sense of happiness or satisfaction but I like to think I'm getting there. I think it's good enough for now at least.

Fuck man. The one test was bad enough for me. I think that was my rock bottom (or one of many) during the period we were living together before separation. It's agonizing but necessary I guess. But I was relieved she was my child. I cant imagine otherwise. I now love to be a father. That feels like the sole value i provide to the world is making sure my daughter has a happy life, regardless of how she decides to live it when she gets older.

I already did a DNA test from CVS, actually! You can actually see it in my post history if you are interested... I wasn't about to let any lingering doubts get in the way of my relationship with my little girl. I'm glad I did it and it makes me more confident and nothing to get in the way for my love of my daughter.

Don't be like me. Got married too young. Ex cheated with my best friend when I was deployed. She went off birth control without telling me. Daughter born 2 years ago. She cheated again, this time with my daughter sleeping in the same room. Now I'm a single dad paying child support for a kid I have 50% custody of. Basically this wench manufactured a system where I will remain bound to her in some form or another for the next 16 years.

Thunder Road. Thunder Road. Thunder Road. I watched this early this year and it was just such a powerful movie for me. It's the story of a divorced father of a little girl, who is also a police officer, who goes completely off the rails and loses his shit after his mom dies. The movie is hilarious and sorta heartbreaking. I'm the father of a little girl, and recently divorced, so it hit a bit too close to home with me, what with the shitty mental health struggles of this year.

Thanks for the F, brother. I am going thorough some shit right now and appreciate the perspectives from this sub, even if they seem somewhat extreme to me in some cases.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
