Proposition 777: the Temporary Extermination of ManRape jokes are funny because you're making fun of the people who say things like 'all sex is rape' and take rape hysteria to unreasonable levels. There is no comparable group of people that do that kind of thing with genocide, so I'm really not sure what the joke would be in that case. | /r/MensRights | 20/11/11 12:40 AM
Botched circumcision. Who should be blamed for this? Parents? Doctor? Also, it's the doctor's responsibility to communicate the risks to the parents. They may not have been aware of the severity or likelihood of some of the risks that circumcision carries. | /r/MensRights | 20/11/11 12:36 AM
Perpetuating that men are amoralIt's clearly implying that all men are sluts, that is, that men want to fuck everything and will cheat and all the other bad connotations that the world slut implies. It does imply that men are immoral, because it implies that all men are sluts and a slut is generally considered an immoral person | /r/MensRights | 20/11/11 12:34 AM
Whenever a woman says "A man can't know what it's like giving birth", give em thisI like how the mother is beautiful, our best critic, and a strong supporter, and the father protected his balls. Really tells you a father's place in the family. /s | /r/MensRights | 19/11/11 06:47 AM

Today in stereotypes that hurt everybody: "Men can't control themselves."Your concern for the efficacy of the MRM is touching. | /r/MensRights | 06/11/11 03:04 AM
| -1 | To a large extent activism is hard because we don't all act as one. What would you do if you had control over every man for the purpose of men's rights activism? If I could control every man I would have control over most of the world leaders. Actually, Men's Rights wouldn't be my top priority in this situation. I'd deal with North Korea, Iran and so on, then get rid of VAWA the rest of the legal biases against men. Easy fix. The world would be awesome. Also, start terraforming mars. | /r/MensRights | 06/11/11 03:02 AM |

Did I rape her? (xpost)Reading the comments, most people think that this wasn't rape. And given that he asked twice if she wanted him to stop I'd say that's a fair assessment. | /r/MensRights | 01/11/11 05:12 AM

Another feminist double standard: "Lick That Kitty, You Misogynistic Douchebag!"Are those 42k/year HIV cases caused by penetrative sex, though? I thought needles were responsible for a lot of HIV transmission. | /r/MensRights | 09/10/11 04:43 AM

An oldie but a goodie: The Female Privilege ChecklistI think a female privilege checklist is useful to make the point that women don't have an exclusive claim on oppression. But we probably shouldn't go around telling women they are privileged like feminists do. Doing that is just kind of insulting. | /r/MensRights | 13/09/11 07:52 AM

Colleges expand definitions of sexual misconduct to punish consensual sexWhile it was consensual, they still ultimately didn't want to have sex ... they did it to shut the other person up. It is entirely irrelevant whether they wanted to have sex or not. What matters for EVERYTHING is whether or not they consented. You cannot hold another person responsible for reading someone's mind in order to find out whether they 'really' wanted it or not. You can only respond to what they say and what they do. If we were to use 'what they really wanted' as a standard then you wo… | /r/MensRights | 09/09/11 05:03 PM

"I asked myself earlier today, what's the one thing many men love to hate more than feminism? and it hit me: animal liberation."The entire idea behind universal human rights is based on the idea that everyone is equal. Can't use the same logic for animals because they aren't equal. Doh. | /r/MensRights | 06/09/11 04:00 PM
Brother and sister have consensual sex - only the man gets put on sex offender's registerWell, the UK was planning on shutting down all female prisons. So they're really not even pretending anymore. | /r/MensRights | 03/09/11 09:16 PM
Hey r/mensrights, check your privilege [PDF]This movement exists only on the Internet because the rest of the world realizes it's retarded. By using the word "retarded" in an insulting way you are ostracizing and shaming people who suffer from mental disabilities. Please check your privilege and refrain from using such discriminatory language in the future. From your submission: In addition, this privilege invisibilizes and stigmatizes mental disability, which ostracizes and shames folks with mental disabilities and cuts support services … | /r/MensRights | 10/07/11 11:59 PM
The Manosphere [vid]I always thought the Kurds were the most oppressed people in the world. Men are just the most oppressed group in affluent, western societies. And not just white men as he implies. Black men probably have it much worse in many parts of the US. In fact, a lot of misandry we're seeing in white communities and mainstream media today started in black communities. | /r/MensRights | 10/07/11 11:44 PM

Women in forum asks how she can ruin her ex-husbands credit.I am confused. How is knucker3 acting like a white night or insinuate women can do no wrong? He says no such thing and is merely asking questions. I did not think the MRM was about demonstrating that women are fucked up, I thought it was about raising awareness of issues pertaining to mens rights. Yes, clearly women can be screwed up, as can men, how is polarizing the genders without intellectual discussion or attacking those who ask questions constructive? | /r/MensRights | 11/05/11 07:19 PM
So I was raised feminist in Sweden. I've read all the FAQs and I've been lurking for some months. But for the life of me I can't figure out how third wave feminism is different from the MRM.The problem I see though, is many feminists (that I have encountered and read) are not incredibly welcoming of a male viewpoint. Many view men as being privileged and lacking the female experience, and thus do not welcome or take seriously male opinions. As a result, men are often dissuaded from conducting research using a feminist methodology, which leads me to believe that feminism is not gender neutral if the male gender is unable to freely participate in the feminist discourse. | /r/MensRights | 05/05/11 08:27 PM
