I used to have an impressive stationary collection until I cut it down to only the things I love. I have 5 of the same Dr. Grip gel pens, a couple LAMY Safaris modded into regular gel pens and 10 of the same A4 Buffalo Journals from Cotton:On (TYPO store if you're in the UK). I don't regret any of my obsessions or previous hoarding behaviors - they taught me what I like and don't like.

Oh man if you like reading the pain in peoples words you'd like the sub regretfulparents. It's extra rough reading their posts and imagining if your parents ever though the same thing once in a while.

Apart from ppd do you guys have any other guilty pleasure niche subreddits you like to browse? LinkedInLunatics and Masterforgiveme are some of my go-tos.

It was a new grad instead of an intern. I said intern to make it funnier. It wasn't entirely his faulth tbh

I am but it's based on a true story. It was a new grad instead of an intern.

Me and the intern at the stand up. Getting ready to explain how he broke production. https://preview.redd.it/gto1n8wn8d6d1.jpeg?width=676&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=54fe260c78fe3c650c28917a923181ba0ae24d88

Praying for your success. If you ever step back from ppd, drop in every now and then and keep us updated. I love hearing success stories.

I'm back to work at a defense contractor. The memes you see every Pride month about Raytheon and Lockheed Martin Pride flags are 100% not a joke.

I've been to the NYC, JC, and Boston Pride. You'll be walking away with a lot of corporate swag, a lot of sexual stuff, lots of drag queens, and yeah. Kind of an overstimulating environment.

Men paying for most expenses as a standard. Any cultural facet involving that idea is much less common in Scandinavian countries for example.

It's hard to explain. I believe it out of a force of habit, and I like spending money on a girl in general but I think it really is more of a cultural feature rather than an indicator for how committed a guy is. I know in Northern Europe - this isn't even a thing.

It depends.

I wouldn't go as far as saying only men 'of a certain caliber' think like that. I grew up in a New Jersey town that leaned towards the idea that women don't pay, and it stuck with me. That and my youth group pastor emphasizing that our 'cup runneth over'. We were blessed to be in a wealthy nation with sound minds and bodies. Be a service to your community and provide for loved ones.

Can't blame em tbh. If your whole life was a sex buffet, you'd also find it hard to stop the party.

Most of them don't want LTR. And when they do, they're often times open. Like a ludicrous amount of them are.

Since all men are default ugly you need to be that much more handsome to just attract women on looks alone if you're a straight man. In that sense, women's looks standards are higher. If you're a gay man it's an endless all you can fuck buffet so you need to be that much more attractive to stand out and get commitment. Good luck with that though. 1/3 of gay men's marriages are open.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
