It's like the difference between Neo exploiting the Matrix to dodge bullets and Tyler Durden going nuts and hurting himself and blowing up a bunch of buildings. Society sucks, but you can either use that to your advantage or destroy yourself trying to change it (which is basically impossible).

Who is to say that a relationship with a woman is a good thing? We all agree that women have very little value compared to what we've been raised to believe. The difference is the regular red piller wants to salvage some little value from women by spinning plates and fucking them occasionally, while the MGTOW say "fuck it" to the whole thing. I like to think of myself as MGTOW. If the right girl came along I might go with it, but I've worked hard to divorce my self-worth from women's perception …

Obama's a pretty shitty president. It would make sense for him to pander to women if he was going for reelection, but he can't, so why is he saying this shit? Has the infection really spread so far that he thinks this shit is real? I wonder how we would have fared with McCain or Romney. It wouldn't have been great, but we probably wouldn't have had Obamacare with an individual mandate and a president spewing feminist propaganda and embarrassing our country in front of the whole world.

Yeah, I'll admit that when I was like 12 that shit was fucking enthralling. I read the first 5 books back to back and really felt immersed in that world.

That's why I have to laugh when I see people treating HP like some great contribution to world literature. It was entertaining back when we were in school, but it's just a fucking kids' book, and I'd say at the core it's a fantasy of a working class kid going to a fancy English public school.

It's written by women for women. This is what some would call a masturbatory fantasy of how they wished the world worked.

There also needs to be a place for MGTOW who aren't just obsessed with getting pussy like some users seem to be.

You never defined "sexual strategy." Does that mean only tactics to insert your penis into a woman or does it include discussion about gender relations in general? If you limit it to the former then this will just be some sort of pickup artist sub and everyone else will be turned out in the cold, since there's no place else on Reddit where you can openly denounce feminism.

Don't forget where he compares women that get ugly after they marry to queen ants that lose their wings after they start a nest. Schopenhauer was the first real philosopher I read and I like him, especially as an introduction to Kant's transcendental idealism, since Kant couldn't write to save his life. He seemed like quite the odd guy though. Example: He got into a fight with his elderly landlady because he thought her guests were too loud and then pushed her down a flight of stairs, for which …

not a support group Yes and no. I think one of the best things about TRP is that it lets all these guys who have been fucked over by women see that their experience is part of something bigger. Like I used to think I was all alone, just bitter, and perhaps even crazy because I was the only person I knew who had a problem with our feminist-dominated culture. Finding TRP showed me my story isn't unique and that I'm not just extremely unfortunate to be surrounded by sluts, betas, and white knights,…

It's not that they are less capable, it's that we feel that bad people don't deserve positive outcomes like the income and social status that a career in medicine entails. But life's not fair i guess.

Which is why we should encourage beta-shaming as much as possible. Women behave the way they do because it works, because we let them get away with it. Time to change that.

I recently read an article in my school newspaper ranting about how terrible standardized tests are and why they should be abolished. Nestled in the article was the confession that the (female) author had done poorly on the LSAT and can't get into a decent law school. Deflecting personal failures onto "society" is so common it's gotten boring.

The type of woman who is more naturally monogamous doesn't exist. Girls want one guy at a time, but are never actually committed to a single guy.

Reverse discrimination is going to be one of the 21st century's greatest challenges. You already see white males discriminated against in school admissions and in the workplace, and if you call people on their racism/sexism you just get shouted down. "Diversity" is the new "purity," and "bigot" and "misogynist" are the new "nigger."

I really can't tell if that sub is just satirical or if it's a legitimate SJW vote brigade. Maybe it's both.

I remember reading a study where the majority of people surveyed agreed with the dictionary definition of feminism, but only a small fraction would describe themselves as feminists. Of course you domt see that on Reddit, but the average person has a very strong negative reaction to the very word feminist.

I read an article about plastic surgery in South Korea and apparently it's a huge thing there for girls to get procedures to look more white... make their eyes wider, even adjust the bones of the face to make it less round. And then I realized I wasn't actually attracted to Asian girls, I was attracted to Asian girls who had been surgically modified to look like white girls.

Sometimes I wonder about Asians. A lot of the international students at my school seem so cool and traditional and polite and honorable and conservative... basically the opposite of your average college-age American. But unfortunately I'm only really attracted to white girls :\

Accept that your fairy tale conception of women and long term relationships no longer corresponds to reality and that searching for unicorns will necessarily be fruitless. Build a time machine. Suicide.

If these people really were so different we'd be able to identify them before they snapped, but the fact is they really aren't that much different from you or me. A few might be destined to commit atrocities no matter what, but I think a better environment could save almost all of these individuals. I also take issue with your "when your crazy, your fucking crazy." The diagnosis of mental disorders is a very controversial thing since many have no known organic etiology and you really just rely o…

The whole feminism movement is based on the principle that if women whine about something long enough some betas will just hand it to them. Why actually earn it for yourself when you can just keep playing the "oppression" card and getting it for free?

This is how they gain power. They shame people so that even if potential believers don't believe in feminism themselves, they think it is socially useful to appear to believe in it. (The class president really shows this... whether he believes in feminism or not is irrelevant, he just wants to maintain his popularity by pleasing people). Soon enough you have everyone at least half believing in feminism because everyone else does, and if you stand up for yourself you're called a "bigot," "misogyn…

It's hard to say. I've given up on trying to change the system. I'm just trying to remove myself from the system and make the best life possible for myself, aka MGTOW. I never plan on getting married or having kids. I just want to build a career, get money, and do the things that make me happy (which don't include getting fucked over by sluts).

Dread it. Look at the trajectory of things so far and you can predict where things will be in the future. It won't be pretty.

Only women are allowed to judge people. If a man does it that's sexist. The next step of course after we're not allowed to form our own judgments is for the women to do our thinking for us, which unfortunately seems to be happening to a lot of guys.

Feminist tactics actually make a lot of sense if you look at it from an evolutionary point of view: In the distant past, females were generally incapable of providing for themselves and their young so they had to dupe a male into providing for them. Even though nowadays women are equally equipped to make money and provide for themselves, today's feminists are using the same trick of using sex and whining to get men to hand them everything they want. This parasitic impulse is hardwired into them.

"Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views." -- Wiliam F Buckley Jr The Duck Dynasty outcry showed the same thing: These social justice warriors fighting for "tolerance" are actually some of the least tolerant people out there. Those claiming to advocate for tolerance or equality or peace on earth or whatever usually have selfish ulterior motives.

The pay gap thing is a myth. Women on average choose to work less hours and do lower paying jobs. In this day and age there's nothing stopping them from getting more high-icnome jobs if they wanted them, but they don't.

I don't get how this shit is even possible. If someone rapes someone, then the police and real courts should handle it, not some random college administrators. That's just common sense. Where did academics get the idea that they are judges??

sitting at home, playing video games while covered in cheeto dust as your adoring pillow girlfriend looks on First, it's worth noting this is the neckbeard stereotype Reddit usually uses to ridicule this sub. Second, while I think some do adopt the label as an excuse, I don't think you can say that only guys with "girls lining up trying to get with them" can be MGTOW. MGTOW is a mental state and can't be inferred from behavior with absolute certainty. What if eating Cheetos and playing video gam…

When someone uses the word "rapey" they immediately lose all credibility. Same with "creepy." It's a vague and meaningless label females use to dismiss just about anything they dislike about men.
