My mum actually wouldn't let me watch most of the disney princess movies as a kid. I'm so grateful now.

So many of us have been in exactly the same situation. It's amazing that you can see through his bullshit, it takes a long time just to get to that point. You're stronger with every step :)

I know this might be controversial but I really do think that on the whole women are more receptive than men. It's a tricky subject because there's so much variation between individual women and between individual men, and they obviously overlap, so it's wrong to assume anything about an individual by stereotyping. But at the same time, pretending those dynamics don't exist on a large scale ends up hurting women on the whole. I think receptivity is actually a power, but women have been systemati…

I read somewhere that people who had both quit heroin and left an abusive relationship said that exiting a trauma bonded relationship was harder. I don't mean to offend people who have overcome opiate addiction as I haven't been through that. But I do know that after my relationship with an abuser I felt like I was literally fucking dying and he was permanently on my mind for months while the rest of the world felt miles away. Words really can't express how awful it was

I think it's really suspicious how it's essentially a trauma response, often from sexual abuse which is almost always perpetrated by males, but it's receives such scorn as a diagnosis in psychiatry. It's like a sexist society can't help but keep on kicking the victims when they're down.

If they are fixated on you they might be using the next woman as a prop so they can upset you

It's projection. THEY are the racist misogynists, literally attempting to colonize the world by exporting a very western version of culture without the slightest glimmer of recognition of the irony

I'm not saying it's the case even most of the time, but just imagine if vaginismus was women's bodies rejecting LVM as a last resort because our minds have been so conditioned to please men. And our male-centric society just can't consider that men could be that repulsive. The times I lost sexual desire for men in a relationship were when they were shit partners, but obviously it was framed as there being something wrong with me

I've read of other ways societies have been arranged. I think in some the women live with their families, and the men come over when she wants them for sex, and then they have to leave. I like the idea of monogamy, though will forgo it if I don't meet a man up to my standards. My personal ideal would be a society based on stable relationships but with much greater pooling of resources, eg. groups of families who would take it in turns to child mind or cook. This would require people to be much l…

Some traditions recognise two creation stories in the Bible. The first [In the beginning..] is the creation by the one true god (male and female). The second [Eden] is the creation of a false god who made human beings into his puppets. Snakes are the symbol of wisdom, and the woman was the first to make the step towards overcoming the control of the false god. She shared her wisdom with the man, however the man in particular struggled with the burden of self-responsibility, blaming the woman, li…

This is part of the push behind transhumanism. Egotistical males wanting to overcome women and nature. It doesn't work, as they will find out.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
